Film Festivals

Anyone ever been to one before? How was it? If not, would you want to go?

Paul and I are going this weekend (mainly just to get out of town) to Wildwood Film Festival, which shows movies somehow connected to Wisconsin. We are going to the 8 o'clock showing, and they're all short films, but I think it should be pretty cool!

I've been to a lot They are fun. Look up Tropfest Bre. Its the biggest short film festival in the world and its awesome.

That does look awesome! Though the nearest one to me is in NYC, and I probably won't be going out there anytime soon. But I'm going to start keeping an eye out for more film fests just because I love movies and watching them all day seems like it would be so much fun.

I've never been to one but I am pretty sure there are a fair few on in Australia.

There are lots everywhere. Canberra even has three that i can think of off the top of my head. The Melbourne and Sydney ones are huge every year, and as mentioned, Tropfest is the largest in the world. Its good they play the films all over the country now(and on FOX after the event) so you don't have to go all the way to Sydney

I've never been to one. Would like too though but I don't think any of my friends would be interested and I wouldn't want to go to one alone.
