Ep 3 -
So has anyone on here actually read any Avengers comics? If so did it make this weeks episode more obvious since you knew what would happen to Hall? I knew who he was so I knew things wouldn't end well for him but I was surprised by how it happened, I thought he had switched sides completely. I didn't buy Skye switching sides though, but I kind of wish she had.

I have and while I knew who he was going to be I didn't know how they were going to portray his origin story. I don't think they will stick with the true origins of characters, but this one I had no issues with other than the entire episode moved too slow. Wasn't great. Skye feels to me like a soft knock off of an Eliza Dushku character. Would be happier if they'd just cast Eliza.

I kind of don't like any of them (apart from Coulson of course)  I will keep watching but it hasn't really grabbed me yet. There needs to be a real cracker of an episode soon. |

So I finally caught the first ep and it was pretty meh. I found myself losing interest through the ep. Will watch the other eps to see if it improves but I'm not holding my breath.

I have two eps to catch up on. I don't love it but I'll keep going.... Anyway, I'm reading the Empire that was delivered to me today and it has an interview with Clark Gregg. Seriously, the man is damn cool And married to Jennifer Grey!!  |

His married to Jennifer Grey?! Haha I didn't know that. I kinda stopped watching this. Never really grabbed me. I'm not a big Coulson fan and there's too much of him in this series. |

Agent Coulson rocks. Discovered that he didn't audition. Jon Favreau is a West Wing fan (clearly a smart man) and saw him as FBI Agent Casper (a small yet awesome character) and thought of him when casting Iron Man. Pretty good role to just score!

Ep 17 ran parallel to CA2 so was pretty interesting. I hate Skye. What a dumb bitch she is  I really thought they would have improved her by now. |

I think a lot of people feel the same way as you Irene. Is it still rating well in the US does anyone know?? I hear it's not really doing well and that seaosn 2 isn't a sure thing. But knowing how much faith ABC has in the show and how popular all things Marvel are at the moment, there'll be a second season. |

There was definitely a mid season lull. Things are interesting at the moment, so hopefully it's turned the corner.
