Bernie and I were watching Sons of Anarchy last night and we were in agreement that one of the characters and his 18ish year old daughter looked enough alike to actually be father and daughter offscreen too. We looked it up and nope, not related at all. Yet the resemblance was definitely there. Very good casting of family.
What castings have you seen in shows or TV that are extremely good and you can definitely believe those people are related (any sort of relation, including younger versions of a character)? What really bad ones have you seen?
I think Once Upon a Time does really well with that sort of casting. Cora and Regina look a lot like relatives, young Snow looked a lot like adult snow. And Glee cast Rachel's mother because they looked a lot alike.
