Dylan and Sean are having a sleepover for their birthday this year so I am after suggestions for movies for them and their friends. They have seen a lot of movies, are more interested in funny movies or action movies. No interest in any kid movies, or anything with too complicated a plot. Nothing rated over M15+ and nothing with too much in the way of sexual references.

They don't have a list of what they want to watch?! Or is it that you don't approve of said list??

They don't have a huge idea of what is out there. I'm not talking about just new release movies. My boys have watched most of what we have that they want to, and all of the ones they are allowed to of those, so I'd like to have an idea what to look for in shops or the video hire store.

Any of the Marvel/DC movies? You can have the whole night as a Marvel themed night.

I assume they've seen Indiana Jones and Star Wars. What about the Ender's Game, School of Rock, Men in Black, Ghostbusters, The Addams Family, The Mighty Ducks, The Iron Giant, The Karate Kid, Ritchie Rich, Jumanji, E.T, Gremlins, Good Burger (it is so stupid.), the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Cool Runnings, Jurassic Park? I was terrified of Drop Dead Fred as a kid, but the boys might like it. Some of these might be too "kid-ish" for them...

Staying away from the obvious ones I assume they have seen, Wayne's World, Blazing Saddles, Spaceballs, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Zombieland (that one might be rated too high), Shaun of the Dead (so might that), Chronicle, Groundhog Day, Bill and Ted, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Poltergiest, Holes, any action movie where a lot of things blow up.

Yay for lots of suggestions Any of the Marvel/DC movies? They have seen them all already. I assume they've seen Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Yep! The only ones from that they haven't seen are ET (they aren't interested), The Iron Giant (they may be a bit old for this), Good Burger (I've never heard of this, what is this one about??) and Drop Dead Fred. I will have a look into those last two! Will look into this too! They are desperate to see Shaun of the Dead, thats a big no They have seen Spaceballs and Scott Pilgrim, I'll have a look into the others Action movies are a definite interest, I just don't know what ones! See how hard it is?

Drop Dead Fred is a classic Loved that when I was a kid. Both Bill & Teds would be good too. I have all those if you need them by the way. Action wise there are some cool old school ones like True Lies, Top Gun or Terminator 2. I saw T2 long before T1. Liz! What the hell was scary about DDF??!?

Any of the Bourne or the later James Bond movies or any of the Fast and the Furious movies. These are favourites of my 13 and 15 year old cousins.

I couldn't find Rocketman, Blazing Saddles or Drop Dead Fred Zombieland is MA with strong horror scenes so I skipped that one thanks Jake Managed to buy fairly cheap Chronicle, and also grabbed Planet of the Apes (the first new one), Maze Runner and The A-Team.
