Well 1995 was a total cracker.... Four of my absolute all time favourites came from the mighty year I was in year 10 Clueless Mallrats Empire Records Bad Boys Other awesome ones: Sense and Sensibility Seven Braveheart Toy Story Apollo 13 Heat Golden Eye While you were Sleeping 12 Monkeys Batman Forever ( shut up! My Nicole is in it! ) Die Hard with a Vengeance Before Sunrise Billy Madison To Wong Foo... To Die For Desperado A Walk in the Clouds Now and Then Casino Sabrina The Usual Suspects Jumanji Ones I don't like so much but I'm sure people do : Babe (one of only two cinema walk outs in my whole life, the other was Evita) The Basketball Diaries (sorry Bre!! ) Judge Dredd The Bridges of Madison County Casper Kids Dead Man Walking Waterworld (though it's not as bad as its reputation IMO) Showgirls (good for a laugh though ) Get Shorty Congo Hackers (would likely be hilarious now) Mortal Kombat (awesome game, shit movie) Crimson Tide Tank Girl The Net (also hilarious computer wise I'd think) Brady Bunch Species (the kiss won best kiss at the MTV Movie Awards I remember) The Quick and the Dead (actually not entirely terrible) Any others I've missed?? If you manage to watch any over the year post here!! ;D I'm going to start with my beloved Clueless (though I know it off by heart)....

Watching Clueless now. Beck let us know what they think! I always think it would be neat to show Emily some of the shows I watched like BTVS when she is older to see what she thinks.

My kids are all loving Stargate atm, we are halfway through season 4.
They have seen Jumanji and they liked that, and of course Toy Story. But there are a few others there I think they would like.
I must be one of the few people never to have seen Babe. Never been interested.

I have seen Babe, I must have been in grade 2 in 1995 so the perfect age to watch it. Zero desire to re-watch.
I will do a watch/rewatch of:
Before Sunrise The Basketball Diaries A Little Princess Casper Clueless (obvs) Empire Records Now and Then (a fav) Jumanji It Takes Two
Recently saw:
While You Were Sleeping, The Baby-Sitters Club, Toy Story

I remembered watching While You Were Sleeping when I was younger, but didn't remember how she's a total creeper I can relate though The train part reminded me of Mrs. Winterbourne - another odd film! Empire is definitely a re-watch, used to be a classic sleepover film!

Phew. Glad to hear that It was a sleepover film for us in high school too. I still remember Danielle bringing the preview tape (she worked at a video store which was super awesome and almost as cool as Pickin Chicken ) out to Sommer's one weekend. Found this article about it the other say. Its worth a read Lucy is a lovable creeper

Saw so many movies with a clock on the screen over those years Video Ezy was the cool job in Brisbane I remember Friday nights when we'd just go and walk up and down the aisles in Blockbuster for like half an hour, deciding what to watch. Seems a bit like what I do with Netflix now

I own a fair swag of the ones I like. The others will be on one of my Netflix's I would think.... Might go Clueless tonight actually. I can't even watch the Footy Shows anymore because they are so crap (and have nothing to do with football ).

Only took me close to a month but I finally watched Clueless today. Remains a favourite, will always be a favourite. I cannot explain my love for Cher, but love her I do. She is not my type of girl at all, but I just adore everything about her And Josh is awesome. Paul Rudd really was a Baldwin.

Clueless has the best outfits. Are you excited for the the musical, Loz?

I don't know.... I quite like musicals based off movies (loved Dirty Dancing, really enjoyed Strictly Ballroom for example) but all the ones i've seen are based on dance and music as an extension. Clueless really isn't!! And the casting would be damn hard. Alicia is seriously perfect. They are BIG shoes to fill when it comes to Cher.
