My Scientology Movie - Good, but it's a shame it a) came out after Coming Clean and b) took so long to come out at all. Imperium - Solid. DanRad makes great choices. Louis Theroux: Savile - I guess it's because I didn't grow up with him, but Jimmy Savile has always just looked creep AF to me. Amanda Knox - Pretty good. Mother's Day - Oh man, I'm sad this is Garry Marshall's last film - not only because it's his last, but also because it's just not good. Shame. Beaches, Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, Princess Diaries, Valentine's Day (yeah, I know) are all so much fun. Girl Asleep - Part Wes Anderson, part Tim Burton. Cool to see an Aussie film. Mitt - Amazing to compare him to Trump. He seems like quite a nice guy. Friends with Kids - Ehhhhhhhhhh

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.... Eddie is back in my good books He's very, very good. I Newt. I really, really enjoyed the whole thing. It's great to be back in JK's world One thing which could prove troublesome going forward though. I HATED Tina. A lot. Everything about her irritated the hell out of me. Queenie on the other hand is awesome. Shame she's not "the girl" Oh, and I want a Niffler

La La Land.
Not a fan of musicals but I REALLY enjoyed this one. Though I didn't think Gosling could sing all that well. Heh.

Me too. Like Emma and Ryan, and it looks excellent. I'm looking forward my weeks break! So many movies to watch..... I did finally get to see Hunt for the Wilderpeople last night. It was great. I that kid, and Sam was excellent as always. Taika Waititi is a gem. Looking forward to seeing what he does with Thor that's for sure.

Oh forgot I downloaded that on iTunes, must watch it!
Saw Barry on Netflix last night. The Australian guy playing Obama is a cutie <3 Overall I thought it was well done, but a bit boring.

I think you guys would really enjoy La La Land if you like old school Hollywood musicals like Singing in the Rain.
Have Hunt for the Wilderpeople waiting for me on my computer. Really need to get round to watching it.

Florence Foster Jenkins - watched this one with my family. My housemate in London worked on it, and I remember him telling me it would be a good one to see with my mum. He was right. Bad Moms - Not bad. Man Up - Enjoyed this one a lot more than I expected to. Great chemistry. Moana - LOVED IT.

I watched Bad Moms for Kristen and Mila. Was alright. But I have no reference for the "mom thing" and I think that may have been a big part of its charm.... A few recents: La La Land - Really liked it. Both Ryan and Emma are fabulous. And gorgeous. Will be a contender. Secret Life of Pets - I got teary at the end Sully- Great film. Tightly directed, well scripted, very well acted. Hanks really is wonderful. Never realized they gave Sully such shit afterwards till I saw this and looked it up. Bridget Jones Baby - More than once Colin

Passengers. Don't understand why this got such bad reviews. It's not the best (Sunshine is waaaaay better) but it wasn't THAT bad either. I enjoyed it enough. Cheesy in some parts and quite predictable (though one aspect of the film took me by complete surprise) but all in all, it was alright. Chris and Jennifer though.

From what I've read a lot of people have a big issue with "the twist". That it makes CP's character irredeemable. That you can't get past it. I was really keen to see it because I like them both so much, but once I learned a few things I was turned off. I'll see it one day, but I'm in no hurry.

I was turned off of Passengers for the same reason.

I have no desire to see this film, which is a shame because I do enjoy both (although JLaw less so). It's just creepy and yucky. Stylistically it looks quite cool. One to watch in 6 months when I'm bored.

You don't know?? She doesn't just wake up. He wakes her up because he's got a crush on her, and doesn't want to be alone.

Ok, yeah, not a great character trait.. I wasn't too keen to see it anyway. Will probably see it in a few years on cable.
