Does anyone else here just think that Evanescence are amazing? I just can't get enough of Amy Lee's voice. I sing their songs at karaoke...they have become a sort of obsession of mine lol So like them? hate them? Explain why here.

I don't mind them. They get paid out a lot for their music, but I think she's got a really nice voice. So...yeah.

I love Evanescence. I heard her next CD will be really dark, which I love dark music.. even though I'm not such a dark person.. but Amy Lee has an amazing voice. I just wish Ben Moody was still in the band.

I loved Evanescence as well! Especially their song "Bring Me To Life." In fact, that's my fave song!

I like the songs I've heard. I'd like the CD (the one with "My Immortal" on it, as I don't know if there's more than one), but haven't gotten around to buying it yet, perhaps because I don't really have the money. I'm not usually into dark music, but this isn't dark in a suicide way (at least, what I've heard). It's very deep and emotional and searching and has a message.

God yes, Evanescense is one of, if not my favorite group. Favorite song is probably 'Missing'. Their music is so dark, and I feel I can really connect from time to time.

Has anyone heard Evanescence's new single, "Call Me When You're Sober"? If not, you can listen to it on their site: www.evanescence.com It's definitely not one of their better songs. But Amy's vocals are strong, as usual.

I enjoyed ''Call Me When You're Sober''. I agree, it's not as good as their old songs but it's still a nice vocal. I'm stunned at how she does it.
I prefered their previous album, there was so many amazing songs like ''My Immortal'' and ''Imaginary''. Now their tracks are sounding pretty much the same which is annoying.

A lot of people are apparently disappointed with the second CD, which I haven't heard yet. Amy Lee's voice is fantastic, but I've seen her do live performances on TV, which were pretty crap. It was enough to make me decide not to head out to see them play in Sydney.

Really? Everytime I've heard their live performances I thought she sounded kick-ass. There's no doubt she has talent, it's just the song-writing kinda sucked in the second album.

I've never heard them live but it would be intresting to see if there is any difference. I would like to see another Evanescene album out, I hope they can try and mix it up a little bit, change their style because I think Evenescene is mainly Amy Lee. Except if you actually listen to Bring Me T Life you realise there's more than one person

I love them so much, I would marry Amy Lee just to hear her sing on a all the time basis, she has an incredible voice. My friends thing she sounds depressing but I disagree. Oh love love love them.

A lot of her songs are depressing, but usually it's easier to write sad stuff rather than happy stuff. I think on their "Origin" CD she did have quite a few love songs, though.

I agree, depressig voice. Yeah but who doesn't like to listen to sad songs once in a while? It's more realistic than all the happy love songs which half are depressing because they died or broke up and they are mourning. And can be totally unrealistic... Then you have love songs to bounce back on and cringe-worthy Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney
