Figured it could use its own thread, to discuss the artwork of the comics and also to post the new covers as they are released... Cover #4 Cover #6

I love the Faith one. She looks so much like Eliza Dushku.
Is the cover for Issue #5 out? Cause I don't remember seeing it.

Actually, I'm surprised that the cover to #6 is out. By the way, that's almost as hot as the combined manpower on Kax! I'd be expecting the cover for #5 to hit in the next couple of weeks with the solicitation for that issue. It's a standalone story written by Joss.

I love the #5 one, too - but I don't think it looks that much like ED. I love the spray paint though. So far I've been impressed with all of the covers. 5/50

i've loved all the covers so far, including 4 & 6. but i agree with bre i dont think it looks like eliza dushku at all, the facial features are wrong and her teeth look terrible.
3/100

Those are good covers! I really like the Faith one too. There is resemble imo, and I love how she put Faith over the Btvs writing

Episode #5 cover hasn't been released no. As Allan said its a standalone written by Joss. I think there is a resemblance to Faith, but its not brilliant. The Dawn one however is great.

Yeah, the Faith cover is interesting. The resemblance is there, but the physical features don't match. But it does capture the essence of the character, though.

Variant covers (released at one for every four stabdard covers), for those that haven't seen them:

There's also a sketch version of Issue One's variant. Only a thousand of them were printed. Looks pretty freaking awsome.

Very cool, Paul. Remember, it's only considered stalking if and when you get caught.

Swet, Paul. Nico's the stalking expert, so I'm sure she'd have plenty of advice. Liz, yes they are less common. 1 variant for every 4 regular covers. Apparently most places will charge extra (I get the variant at the standard price because I also order a copy for Beck ) EDIT- Oops, Paul already addressed that.
