I'm not a real big fan of Lindsay Lohan, but that may be more due to what I hear in the celeb news and such than any of her roles, since I've seen so little with her in it after she did "Parent Trap."

I liked her in Freaky Friday and I think thats the only thing I have seen her in. She was very good in that, but I agree I dislike her from her publicity.

I like her. She's spunky. And not generally the type of person I'd like. Doubt I'd be friends with her, but she's got great clothes.

Favourite actor(s): William Petersen, James Marsters, Jonathan Frakes ^^
Yes, they're all a little older then the usual bunch but they are hot. Specially Frakes and Petersen. Mmmm he's such a hot older guy *sigh*

Johnny Depp's a brilliant character actor, and one of my favourites. I'm also a huge fan of Alan Rickman and Gary Oldman.
Actress wise is a little tougher I might have to come back to that...
And for all the Jim Carrey haters out there, see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. He really reins it in, and made me really respect his acting ability.

I know a lot of Tom Hanks haters... Joe refused to watch any movie of his after he saw Forest Gump. And he made me hate that movie he loathed it so much and bitched about it so often I think Hanks is incredibly talented but incredibly dull and really not that attractive

I'm not a fan of his recent work... Anything after Big, really.

! He was fantastic in the Green mile and svaing private Ryan Allan!, I dont mind Tom Hanks, You hardly ever see him in the papers or such and he is a great actor, I Love Jim Carrey to, He is bar far one of my nall-time favourite actors, even when hes off stage he is making me laugh, I remember seeing him get an award and his face was wrapped in bandages and he was petending he had a face plant , Guys a Genious. Freaky Friday sucked!, so does Lindsay Lohan!, Talk about remaking a film 1000 times, and always the damn same!, She has nice clothes agreed though Beck your very strange though it makes sense 'cause your evil!

I don't hate Tom. I'm not a huge fan, but I thought he was good in those movies you mentioned, Nico (and saying "since Big". He's someone who isn't always getting into trouble, and he deserves respect for that. I think my major problem is that he's overexposed. I don't mind Jim Carrey's "wilder" moments. The Mask remains a personal favourite of mine (though I did refuse to see Son of the Mask). And Lindsey Lohan is one of my most hated actresses.

I love Tom Hanks. And anyone who doesn't like Forrest Gump is cuckoo! It's a damn good movie. And another one I saw by him, 'The Terminal'. Another really great film. The only one I've seen w/ Hanks that I didn't really like was the da Vinci Code. I like Lindsay Lohan, too. I think she's a good actress for the roles she has done. And she has kick ass clothes.

Forrest Gump is great, and it's the movie that madehim a star. I wasn't a huge fan of the Terminal, though.
As for Lindsay, I can't say I've noticed her clothes. And I don't know if I've actually seen any of her movies. It's just all the stories you hear about her behaviour that I hate.

Tom Hanks seems like a bit of a dad to me. An okay actor, but not my favorite.
I really dislike Mel Gibson. Comes across as a total bastard. And a racist.

I agree with you about Mel. He's a talented actor and director, but I'm not throwing my support - and money - behind anything of his again.

Tom Hanks is boring imo :dunno: He was good as Forest Gump, I will admit that, but I don't like him at all, and his appearance in a movie (unless it sounds brilliant) is enough to turn me off seeing it.

He's not enough to make me not want to see a movie, but he definitely couldn't sell me one.

No actor or actress is enough to make me see a movie, You could be angelina jolie and brad pitt, or jo bloggs and sheila bloggs from the slumps, I dont really give a damn,Even the best actors in the world cant make bollocks writing look good. which i guess is what makes me different, I go to see the movie, the actors and actresses arent the important factor, im more interested in the writing. Of course I want to see decent acting who wouldnt, but why would you say something like "oh brad pitts in it, ill have to check it out" ?, hes like 50 year old!, he cant take the same roles he took when he was younger, (like big), Infact thats probably why hes getting parts like prison guards, postal workers and soldiers. Like I said, Im not a fan but he isnt the worst actor out tere, and he could never put me off a film. EDIT: I am also a fan Of eddie Murphy and Robin WIlliams, both another two of my favourite actors

I don't go and see a movie solely for the actors either, though if its an actor that I love his/her other work I am more inclined to give it a chance even if it doesn't sound like the best movie ever. If it sounds bollocks then I'm still not going to see it.

Ditto, I agree with Beck.
If a movie looks good to me, the star/s may be enough to seal the deal. That said, I would be very inclined to see a movie based on who wrote or directed it, and just as likely not to.

Ditto, I agree with Beck. I am shocked as hell. I see most things eventually Especially films that are particularly well reviewed or nominated a lot.... I make sure i watch all the Oscar nominees for Best Film and i try to get through the Best Actor/Actress and Supporting nominees films as well for example. Story is obviously a big motivation but i have to admit if a film has an actor or actress that i really like then i will definitely be more inclined to go see it. I mean i watched every single film Keanu Reeves ever made one weekend And it goes the same for actors and actresses i don't like. Someone i hate can definitely taint my desire to see a film. Like the way i feel about Tom Cruise right now. I think he's nuts and he makes me kind of ill so its hard to watch him on screen no matter what role he is in or how good the movie is
