I find Lindsay's acting to be rather stiff. Maybe it's that I'm influenced by the bad rap she gets in the press and such. But I've never been able to really get into any of her characters.

I don't mind LL. She can be a good actress if she really wants to. I like her in her earlier work - Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, etc. Usually my least favourite actor/actress are those singers who try to act. They should just stick to singing, in my opinion.  |

I'd usually agree with that, but I think Many Moore is a better actress than she is a singer. Most of the time I agree with you though, Irene.

About Lindsay Lohan: As much as I like Freaky Friday, Mean Girls (especially that ;D ), etc., I don't like her acting all that much. Like Marie said, it feels stiff.

Mandy Moore is a surprisingly good actress, but she is also a very talented singer imo. She has a great voice. Lindsey, I stand by my opinion that she is actually a good actress. She may seem wooden lately, but I'd put that down to her lifestyle affecting her work.

after watching Stepmom again the other night, I realised how much i love that movie and the combination of Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon I love them both and think they are both bloody brilliant actresses.

Ooh yes, they're both great. I love Julia in Notting Hill and Pretty Woman, and Susan is fantastic in Igby Goes Down, Thelma and Louise etc. I'm looking forward to seeing her in The Lovely Bones.
