So I finished Tales of the Slayer Volume 1 (and it was very good) and now I'm going to start reading 'Beowulf' which is an epic poem with an unknown author. It was JRR Tolkien's inspiration piece, so I'm pretty sure it'll be good.

Yeah Tash what is it?
Im reading the Silmarillion, its brilliant. It can be a bit daunting when you start because of all the wierd names and that thay have about four different names for one person or place and they will use each of them so you are sometimes not sure what person or place they are in fact talking about. But its great finding out how elves and men came to be in Middle Earth.

The Silmarillion is absolutely great!!! Once again, JRR Tolkien proves to be the best of the best in the literary world.

yeh its a Buffy book. Nancy is usually one of the better buffy writers in fact she's written some of my favorite books such as 'the book fo fours', but lately with 'Queen of Slayers' and 'Carnival of Souls' her grasp of the buffyverse is severely slipping.
One example in this book is that she can't make out when it is set, it's supposed to be set in season 2 before Angel turns into Angelus yet she references things that have happened in season 3!! its irritating and affects her ability to accurately portray Angel and Buffy.

I just bought Carnival of Souls. It sounded so good too. And Queen of the Slayers i read and it wasn't one of her best writings, but it was okay. I just wish she had more thoughts on Spike.

I'm in the middle of reading 'The Power of Five: Evil Star' by Antony Horowitz. Its very good, the tagline to it is: 'When it flickers, the world dies'

I've just finished reading a brilliant book called Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin. It's about a girl, Liz, who was killed in a hit and run and its about her journey in the afterlife, it's really interesting and thought provoking, i loved it.
