I just finished One Shot by Lee Child, I really enjoyed it so thank you Beck for the recommendation. I've gone back to the start and bought The Killing Floor and Die Trying so I'll be reading those next along with Spike and Dru: Pretty Maids All In A Row

I'm reading LOTR still, and now Tarzan. I read Rule No. 5: No Sex On The Bus this weekend (also for uni) which was really funny. I'd recommend it as a really easy and fun read.

Oooh, LotR -- good read. ;D And now, still reading the Shoebox Project, and because I can't get the Spike & Dru book from the library ( ), I've started the Artemis Fowl series. It's about a smart boy, and I like smart people, so it's pretty interesting so far. Has good elements to it.

Are you liking The Shoebox Project? Do you read slash?

Yeah I'm liking the Shoebox Project. I'm not very far into it, though.
I don't usually read slash. But I'm up for anything new.

I'm also reading The Killing Floor by Lee Child. OMG! it is so good so far I love it. Reacher is a lot different in this one but thats bound to happen with it being the 1st book, its also a lot for violent and more adventurous.
I'd definately recommend it!

Oh more Lee Child Glad you're enjoying it Tash, I have all of the Reacher books and they are all great. Are you reading them all in order? (not that that is crucial to enjoy the Reacher books)

Lee Child definately very good, especially if you like violent crime thrillers. Plus WH Smith has a sale on them at the moment. The 1st book in the series is The Killing Floor so I'd read that one 1st

I just started a new Diana Gabaldon book. It's the fourth in her Outlander series and it's called Drums of Autumn. I have a sneaking suspician it's going to center mostly on one of the characters I don't really like, but it'll be worth it in the end. It always is. Those books may start slow, but they always wind up being fabulous in the end.

I'm currently reading 'Deception Point' by Dan Brown. It's kind of predictable, but the characters are great and the story is pretty good.

I just finished Empire of the Sun and am now reading Across the Nightingale Floor while at work and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban at home. I'm trying to catch up on my reading.
When I go away to Dragoncon, I will be taking Drums of Autumn, Goblet of Fire, Grass for his Pillow, Howl's Moving Castle, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It's a long trip...with lots of buses.
