It was sad. I especially didn't like it because they left poor Je Yeon an orphan. I was expecting Sun to be a good mom and say "No Jin. You need to care for our baby." But she didn't! Of course I am most sad over Frank Lapidis' maybe death. He was too awesome. Only 3 1/2 hours left til it's over.

I know right! I was quite surprise there was not mention of their daughter. I am only a week behind you it seems. Next week is about Jacob and the Man in Black. My colleague at work has seen it and she is not happy with the episode AT ALL.

Yeah I wasn't too happy with it either. It was OK, but the timing is lame. Don't go into my FB profile if you don't want to be spoiled. There's a little bit of a LOST discussion on a video I posted.

Tonight's episode was brilliant. ;D The finale is going to be so sad. I want it to end, but I don't. My heart is confused.

I just spoiled myself. I didn't watch it just went to check out how it ended. I knew it! I freaking knew they were all dead. I wondered waaay back at the end of season 1, "I'm pretty sure this show is going to end by telling us everyone is actually dead." It's stupid though. I hate that I was right.
Very disappointed.

Oh girls you must really actually watch the episode. Because you're dead wrong. If you must know ... Everything that has happened in the past six seasons really happened to them in their real lives. The flash sideways are what they're actually dead in, if that makes sense. It's a kind of purgatory. If they were dead all along, I would have shot myself after figuring that out.

Everybody dies eventually. But because they were all so important in each others lives, they decided to wait for everybody in "purgatory" or whatever to move on to "heaven" or whatever. I would suggest watching Jimmy Kimmel Live's Aloha to Lost. It really helps explain things.
Of course the series finale didn't live up to my expectation, but do they ever? I still think it's one hell of a show, and I'm having a hard time believing anybody can top it!

Ahh yes that makes more sense. This article also clears it up. Article says - What is the flash-sideways reality? As Christian Shephard explained at the end, the alternate timeline, in which Oceanic flight 815 lands safely in Los Angeles, is a purgatory, a collective dream, mutually created by the souls of the castaways (and a few close outsiders, like Penny), a way for them to rediscover each other before moving on to the next spiritual plane. It's also a place for the characters, all of whom have heavy baggage (and not the kind you pick up at the carousel), to let go. (Which is why those characters not ready to let go, like Ben or Michael or Ana Lucia, didn't end up in the church at the end.)
Does that mean they all died? (The shots of the empty plane wreckage over the closing credits has led some viewers to infer that no one survived the initial crash.) Well, they did all die, but not at the same time. Everything that occurred on the island, including the deaths of Boone, Shannon, Juliet, Sayid, Jin, Sun and Jack, really did happen. But so did the escape of Kate, Sawyer, Claire, Miles, Frank and Richard on the Ajira jetliner; they died sometime later (hopefully, after making it to safety and living out their lives). Hurley and Ben stayed behind to run the island and also, presumably, lived out their lives, as did Rose and Bernard. In the collective dream limbo, however, time doesn't matter, said Christian, so the souls didn't meet up there until everyone was dead. Okay, NOW I can watch season 6. Or should I wait for DVD so I can watch in awesome quality...I think I will watch season 1-5, THEN watch 6.

It is really awesome. The first couple seasons are definitely my favorite. Everybody has no idea what the hell is going on and I love all their little catchphrases. Like Claire and her baaaby lol and Sawyer's nicknames. Still can't believe it's over.
