Claire's whole story confused me. First she disappeared and then she comes back as a cavewoman. Weird. I don't think it's so much a plot hole as it is non-important info. Has nothing to do with the bigger story, just Claire's. So it has everything to do with the bigger story? I see.

Well, in the Bible Aaron is a descendent (great grandson) of Jacob. So there's probably significance there.

Lost Jacob never had kids. So I don't think there is any real significance to that, but it's still interesting, nonetheless. Didn't Eko mention something once about Aaron and the bible??

Yeah, I know - but he still could be related. Unlikely, but the connection is interesting. I doubt it's merely a coincidence. "Lost" Ratings Show Finale Produces Highest Numbers In Two Years - an article from CBS news, May 24, 2010. The two-and-a-half hour series closer became the highest-rated episode in two years for the show, taking in 13 million viewers. It was the highest-rated program that evening, but fell far short of matching the viewership numbers posted by the finales of such shows as M*A*S*H (well over 100 million), Seinfeld (76 million), Friends (52 million), and even ALF (21.7 million). By comparison, the American Idol season finale, that show's lowest-rated since its first season, had nearly double the number of Lost's finale viewers, with 24.2 million.

Lost's ratings were never great after the first season. They went on way too many hiatuses and a lot of people aren't patient enough for that kind of story telling. They aren't related. Would have been mentioned in the show. But I'm sure the writers did use the name for that purpose.

Mostly how it left more answers than questions and the whole idea of them in a flash sideways world/thing gah! I was just expected something else not them all to be dead and meet up for the last time. *shakes fists* How I hate you Lost, but can't hate you for long.

Do you mean it left more questions than answers? I don't know. I think they answered the questions that needed to be answered and the ones left up to us are fine to be left as questions. That's how life is anyway. We don't have the answers for everything. The flash-sideways thing I enjoyed. It shows that their journey goes beyond life and their connections are strong enough to last in an afterlife. But I know I'm on of the very few who was happy with the finale.

Ok I'm in season 2, Lock and Desmond have set off the blast doors and Sayid, Sun and Jin are sailing to find the Others.
Oh and after Imdb'ing for the spelling of Sayid's name, I have learned that Vincent is played by a girl dog... lol
