GG hasn't aired in Australia since halfway through season 5. It sucks! Definitely get season 1, it's so sweet seeing how they used to be!

When i turned the football on about 15 minutes ago GG's end credits were on.... i have no idea what season they are playing but something is on air

Oh, really? Stupid channel 9 messed it around so much, they're very good at doing that.

Just watched the series finale. Must stop crying now.

I was crying, too. Partially because of what all happened and partially because it was the end of the show. I tend to be a bit sappy like that.

Wow. I can't believe it has ended. I will really miss this show.

I'm now praying extra hard for my local channel to air season 6. Oh and I'm going to get season 1 soon!

I started crying during the opening credits because I knew it was the last time. I did the same thing with Buffy

I cried too. OMG WHY DID I CRY. Wahh, I'm really going to miss it! I do wish Logan had appeared and gone..."RORY I AM COMING TOOOOOOOOOO!"

Loved how the ending scene mirrored the pilot's ending. Sigh.

Buuuuutt...there's hope! Amy Sherman-Palladino wants to do a two-hour Gilmore Girls TV-movie! Yippeee!

Ausiello: OK, here's the deal: Yes, I tracked her down, but, no, she did not cough up those elusive four words. But wait — there's more. And it's good. No, amazing. No, un-frakkin'-believable. Amazing, even. Wait, did I say that already? Well, it's true. Because just as I was about to brand her a big ol' promise-breaker right there in front of all those industry types, Amy explained why she couldn't divulge her long-ago-planned Gilmore ending. (Gilmore fanatics: This is the time in Sprockets when you either lean on a heavy object or just sit down.) In the next year or two, she hopes to make — wait for it — a two-hour Gilmore Girls TV-movie that ties up all those loose threads! I nearly fell over when she said it — especially given what she told me back in December. (BTW, lest you think Amy was pulling my leg, her partner in life and in showbiz, Dan Palladino, confirmed that a GG reunion pic is something they're interested in pursuing.) And I wasn't the only one floored by this development. "She said what?" gasped Scott Patterson after I relayed the information to him over the phone. "I didn't think she would be interested in doing something like that. But if she says she is, I would seriously consider it." Alexis Bledel was equally stunned. "A Gilmore Girls reunion?" she said with a laugh. "That's certainly not something I had thought of doing. That's really funny, I have no idea how I would feel in a few years. I don't know, I'm sure the script Amy would write would be great, but I guess I'd have to read it and see how I felt at the time." Last but not least, Lauren Graham e-mailed me late last night to say, "Could be a fun idea if everyone wanted to do it. I would do it just to get the four final words out of Amy. They torture me." He is quite good. I haven't read his column since I started watching Heroes for fear of spoilers, though. I first saw the news on Vodafone Live's entertainment news, so went and hunted down the source.

It was so nice seen all the townies one last time! And Emily and Richard were so sweet.

I heard about the movie. And honestly, I'm quite skeptical about it.

It's hard to picture Gilmore Girls as a movie.

From what I've seen, I think it could work. Basically it's designed to wrap up the character arcs, etc, and to bring closure to it all. It's not like a big screen, stand alone movie.

Amy Sherman-Palladino would do a good job. And as long as Rory ended up with Logan, I'm happy!

I can't believe Rory and Logan broke up! I also can't believe Rory didn't say yes to his proposal. It was totally not what I was expecting- the series finale is coming up, and Rory won't even be too happy for it...and even if she is then I'm not
