Dean was definitely best for her but I think to keep a relationship going it has to be exciting and Dean for whatever reason started to become 'Comfortable' for Rory minus all of the excitement.
Jess and Rory both treated each other and other people like crap. They never had a chance from the start but regardless they are incredibly adorable in the what... 2.. 3 episodes after they get together before it all blows up again?.
I had no idea the Actors playing Lorelai & Luke hated each other!

I didn't know either, Nico! They have great chemistry with each other on screen so I'm surprise to hear that.
What season are you watching at the moment, Nico?

Any idea why they don't get along? now when I watch it and see them having their little spats I imagine that is them in real life to I am on season 3 just watched the episode "A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving" which was a pretty decent one lots of Lorelai/Rory . They are showing an episode a day and to be honest I forget a lot of what happened, for example Rory/Jess right now I like them together but if I recall I ended up disliking him I can't remember why so I imagine I have that to look forward to!.

I just finished watching the ep in season 3 where Jess leaves town without saying a word to Rory. I think that's the episode where you'll hate Jess - cause I sure did! I feel sorry for him though when he had a mini breakdown with his father and said he had nothing. That, I thought, was pretty sad.

I like further down the line after Logan cheats on Rory (or they were on a break or whatever) when she bumps into him again, probably one of there better moments!.
I haven't seen him leave town yet! but I remember he bumps into Rory as he is leaving and doesnt say he is going.

Yeah. He sees her on the bus and doesn't say a word about leaving. But I liked how he turned out in the end. I may have like him with Rory if they got together in the later seasons. Oh and hate Logan too! So glad she didn't agree to marry him.

I like Logan. He wasn't one dimensional and had faults. I would have shot his friends though.

Couldn't stand how he treated Rory. I would rather have her dating Marty than Logan.

Rory is an idiot. He treated her better than she deserved.

Did Jess & Rory actually spend much time together? I just watched the episode Christopher becomes a daddy again and we see Lorelai as a youngster, some funny moments .

I was looking for info on the Scott/Lauran spat and read some interviews by them both and they both said stories of them hating each other are rumours and very overblown, infact with tvguide Patterson said "We had a very comfortable working relationship. I enjoyed doing scenes with her because I knew she was going to hit the ball back over the net as good as she got. All of that stuff is just overblown. "
Anyway, makes it easier to watch the 2 of them again!, Lauren Graham said she loved the on set connection they both had.
I am onto the Rory/Yale chapter of Gilmore Girls, and man it bugs the bejesus out of me how much whining Rory does about finding somewhere to study and paper articles !.
I love Michele!

We don't sound like that, he totally bungs it on. Every Aussie who hears him speak goes WTF believe me. Why do you think its so infuriating? And sorry Nico but that sounds like bad spin to me. Not convincing at all

I didn't know they disliked each other in real life until Loz mentioned it. All I know is that LG preferred Lorelai with Chris instead of Luke because their characters were more suited for each other. Which is pretty true in some instances. I didn't care much for Rory in the later seasons (when she started Yale). Can't say I hated her then though. Just that her story wasn't really that interesting to me. You do know that the actor who plays Finn is an Aussie in real life. I don't care if he was born here or not. We don't sound like that, he totally bungs it on. Every Aussie who hears him speak goes WTF believe me. Why do you think its so infuriating? And sorry Nico but that sounds like bad spin to me. Not convincing at all He probably laid it on thick just to emphasize he's an Aussie. It didn't bug me though.

So? Kyon's accent (she was one of Lane's friend or could be a family member) accent annoys me and I'm not Korean.

I think you have missed my point. The reason it annoys me is because I AM an Australian and it makes US sound stupid. Its not simply about the aesthetics of the accent. If someone was murdering an Irish accent for example (think Angel in early Buffy ) it would be different.

Yeah. It's great that they decided to cast an Australian, and keep his accent - but it's not great when they "enhance" the accent. It's embarrassing.
