I can do that for you, no problem. And it will be strictly friendship. I suggest you watch the actors commentary on the extended edition DVD for the Return of the King, if not just for the hilarious things Dom Monaghan (Merry) and Billy Boyd(Pippin) say about Orlando Bloom, especially while he is killing the oliphant. Every time you see that scene, you'll laugh after listening to it.

I am going through a bit of an obsessive phase with them right now. In the past two days I have been watching the three films over and over again, I can quote bits now, also watching the extended scenes on youtube. (Bless youtube, damn my computer for running it choppy.) It's probably something to do with reading the books, now I watch them and read at the same time it makes me happy to read a scene while hearing the same scene play in the background. I am actually surprised I like Legolas so much cause I am really not fond of Orlando, though he can be very pretty sometimes there is something about him that doesn't... tickle me pink, so to speak. As Legolas though... yah I'd tap that.

Legolas is fabulous. I often skip the first half of Fellowship of the Ring and start it where he gets off his horse

I will always remember sitting in the cinema with my mate and when he got off that horse turning to her and going, "Holy f**k, who the hell is that guy?!"

Mmm yes I too start there, the only part in the beginning I watch now is Merry and Pippen stealing the firework. That part is too funny. To my shame I am starting to repeat and memorise what they say is Elven. I am starting to think I should stop teasing people about being really "geeky" about stuff, cause oh... years after it loses steam I apparently jump on the bandwagon and start doing the very things I was making fun of others for.

How can you skip the wonderful prologue??? Sometimes I put the DVD in, watch the prologue then say "Eh I don't feel like watching the rest". The prologue is so awesome! I think Orli is a good looking guy, but the blonde wig just throws me off. Angie would tap that, I would only, without the wig.

See, and he just looks so good in a wig and legging... how many people can look at a guy and say, "wow those leggings look really nice one you!"?. Anyone who see's Orlando as Legolas, thats who. He looks so much better when he is being beautiful, then he does when he is being scruffy.

Aragorn is much hotter. He looks like an actual man!

Aragorn is hot but Legolas is just beautiful It was the first thing i ever saw him in and it brought the fangirl in me out! The prologue is for the most part extremely boring. It is great if you haven't watched it for awhile but... a lot of it is boring and long winded.

I love it. I know it by heart. The Fellowship is my favorite of the three though, so I've watched it the most times which may be why I love it so much.

I am more drawn to the sequels, more action. Though I do find myself craving certain scenes in the first film, The Balrog is cool, and I love the line "Fly you fools." I actually like Aragorn a lot though they can kill that small animal on his face they call a beard that he is sporting in the last scene. he looks so much better with scruff. I saw him in an interview with clean shaven face and it was a little shocking, he doesn't look half as hot. The interview is cute though he is being all quiet and boring then Orlando jumps on him crying "Human scum" and gives him a kiss. Viggo is like well I'll just let you talk to Orlando now.

Yeah Viggo isn't the best looking outside of LotR. And he looks way too old and clean in that last scene of his in RotK. He's very odd in interviews, but in the special features he gets along great with everybody so it's fun seeing them all be friendly and goofy.

I could even do it this weekend if you all were up for it. I don't mind doing it at an odd time if I don't have to work the next morning (which I don't this weekend).
