I actually liked them together.. It fealt much less forced than most other relationships, and although she may have heald him as a child, he wasn't a child anymore. He had gone through his years as any normal person would have.

Ew no way. It was icky. And I felt it was completely forced, which of course it was - by Jasmine.

It wasn't really under Jasmine's control until after they had sex though. She set it up so that Cordelia lost all of her memory's, and it just happened that Connor was the one she ended up with. Because of how true he was to her, and because of how genuine he was. He was what she needed, and vise versa.

What? Did you not watch season 4 at all? Jasmine took control after Spin the Bottle, as soon as Cordelia's memories came back. I don't think the memory loss was intentional, but thats just my interpretation of it. She did not have sex with Conner by chance. As Skip tells the group, Conner's birth was set up by Jasmine, so that he could be the father to bring her into the world. She needed a miracle child to bring her into this dimension in her own body. It was Jasmine, using Cordelia's body, that seduced and had sex with Conner.

Nope. Never watched one episode of the whole entire season and I still knew that Connor and Cordelia happened. Guess I'm just good like that huh?
And Cordelia/Connor were still close, even before anything that Jasmine influenced. Everything was already there for a good relationship to form, and I really don't see why people hate this relationship so much. I don't see how Cordelia was ever Connor's mother figure. I love it mainly because it gets rid of Cordy/Angel which just gave me the heeby jeeby's. But also because you can tell, that even before Jasmine could have any influence on either Cordelia or Connor's emotions, that they cared for one another. It made alot more sense to me than alot of other relationships did on the 'verse.

I hate getting into arguments like this, but Shants was right you had your facts wrong, so it could be concluded you had not watched the season in a long time. I knew some of what happened before seeing the show I don't find the relationship gross but it was not Cordelia that had romantic feelings for Conner. She cared about him as a mate. It wasn't romantic at all until Jasmine took over.

I'm neglecting to see where my facts were 'wrong'. Connor/Cordelia cared for one another even before Jasmine's influence, whether people like it or not it doesn't change that it's a fact.

It wasn't really under Jasmine's control until after they had sex though. This was wrong. Cordelia was under Jasmine's control before they had sex. This is wrong. Jasmine planned on being with Conner from when she planned his birth. Not chance. She ended up with him because Jasmine took control. So also wrong. Facts. Wrong.

provide me with a quote directly from an episode and then it will be wrong. Untile then, it's right.
Could you try being a bit clearer? Because I'm not sure what your saying. It was Jasmine who faked Cordelia's higher being-ness. And thus her who made her lose her memories. Not wrong, right.
No, actually she ended up with him because it's what happened. Jasmine didn't push the two together at first. In the beggining, they found eachother. Then Jasmine took advantage of that situation.

You might want to rewatch Skip's speech to Angel. Jasmine organised for Angel and Darla to conceive Conner, so that this child could be used for her to enter this dimension in her own body. She also engineered Cordy becoming a higher being so she could take control. Once you watch this again, then come argue your points.

Lorne states that it was directly after Spin The Bottle that Jasmine was released within Cordelia
The memory loss was due to her transision from the higher plane to our plane, Jasmine got stuck inside and wasnt released until Spin The Bottle
Jasmine used Cordy to seduce Conner therefore have sex and create her. Conner wasnt going to say no was he. He had his mind and his insecurities played on.

So we're all agreed that Jasmine was in control when Cordy and Connor got it together.
But what do you think of their relationship in season 3, was it just as friends or as a friend of Angels that she tried to help him, or did she have motherly feelings towards him because of how much she cared for him as a baby?

I think she had both motherly feelings and feelings of friendship towards him. She wanted to help him most of all.

Cordy had motherly instincts for him, im not sure if they would ever have been friends in a sense. I think she would always have had a more motherly stance towards him.
And she would certainly have not gotten romantically involved with him.
Even in her memory loss state i never got any sexual tension between them.

yeh neither did I. It was clear to see that Jasmine was manipulating Connor and she knew that once she'd got him into bed once he'd be completely hooked and do anything for her.
Cordy was quite clearly disgusted but what had happened in 'Your Welcome' so there was obviously no chamistry their to begin with

Jasmine was a sadistic b*tch...I hated that she acted all nice when she was out of Cordelia, even if it was a clever plan. Get everyone to trust you, and then kill 'em all.
I think that Connor allowed himself to be manipulated because just think about it- all of this stuff is still new to him, and he lost most of his childhood on Quortoth...even though he didn't know what he was getting himself into, he still allowed it to happen. He obviously wasn't thinking clearly. And that's part of the reason why Jasmine chose him.
