There was a lot of it on Buffy, so I figured we could discuss those moments. So any foreshadowing, mention it here!
Obviously Restless is big with the foreshadowing for several of the characters, and Dawn is heavily foreshadowed by Faith in season 3. Willows Magick abuse was foreshadowed for a long time before season 6 occured. Even Buffy and Spike's alliance was shown a little all the way back in season 2.

Buffy: "Who's going to look after him?" Faith: "It's a she. And aren't these things supposed to take care of themselves?" walks up behind Buffy and stops next to her. Buffy: "A higher power guiding us?" Faith looks at her then turns away and keeps walking towards the camera: "I'm pretty sure that's not what I meant." Buffy looking down: "There's something I'm supposed to be doing." Faith: "Oh yeah. - Miles to go - Little Ms. Muffet counting down from 7-3-0." Buffy grimaces: "Great. - Riddles." Faith standing in front of the broken window looking out: "Sorry, it's my head. A lot of new stuff." Buffy looks at her with a half smile. The cat on the bed turns for a split second into the image of a girl (Faith?) laying on the bed in white gown at the same time as Faith still looking out the broken window says: "They are never going to fix this, are they?" Buffy concerned: "What about you?" Faith turns around and gestures at her head: "Scar tissue. It fades. It all fades." Buffy looks down with a frown. For a split second Faith's bloody knife appears in the palm of her hand. Faith as Buffy looks back up: "You want to know the deal? Human weakness - never goes away. Not even his." Buffy with a half smile: "Is this your mind or mine?" Faith with a short laugh: "Beats me." Buffy gives a little laugh in return and looks down. Faith walks towards her: "Getting towards that time." Buffy looks at all the boxes and the weapons laid out on the table beside her: "How are you going to fit all this stuff?" Faith: "Not gonna. It's yours." Buffy: "I can't use all of this!" Faith: "Just take what you need. (reaches her right hand up to touch Buffy's cheek) "You're ready?"

how about the foreshadowing of Buffy's death in Faiths riddle thats one that always amazed me. yeah, it took me a while to figure that out, heh. Foreshadowing happens a lot in Buffy, it's one of the things that really interested me to the actual show.

Im not possitve about this but it might be just me.
i think there was some foreshadowing between Anya and Spike, Season 4 - "where the wild things are", they are both sitting in the bronze talking about there relationships and im not sure if its just me but i sense some chemistry between them, maade me beleive something could or would happen between them.

Yeah, I'm not sure if that's a foreshadow, but I could definitely sense the chemistry between them.
I've heard people say that Xander being a pirate for Halloween one year was a foreshadow for Caleb sticking his finger in Xander's eye, causing him to wear an eye patch. But who knows?

I havent watched Primeval for ages (S4 ep 21 buffy), but i think there's one foreshadowing to something Jonathan says to Xander in S7...
Remember that Willow, Giles and Xander all played a part in evoking the essence of the first slayer to aid Buffy to defeat Adam - if my memory serves me correct, Xander was the "heart". In the episode "storyteller" in S7, Xander asks Jonathan what part he plays in the making of Jonathans slayer account, as he thinks he doesnt have much worth in the situation (not those words but thereabouts). Jonathan disagrees... Jonathan: "Don't be silly, you're the heart of the machine..." Xander: "The Heart..."
one of my favourites!

Doncha mean Andrew Xander has always been classed as the heart of the group, with his lack of supernatural abilities and knowledge what else could he be. The thing between Anya and Spike wasn't foreshadowing, it was just the way their personalities complimented each other. Lets face it, every female character Spike interacted with you could see the sexual chemistry because that was the type of personality he was. As for the Xander pirate thing, certainly not foreshadowing but possibly reaching back and drawing from old ideas

have to agree with Glenn there it is a bit far fetched to say that just beacuse he wore a pirate costume one he would loose his eye!! If its true then he's gonna join the army too! lol

If its true then he's gonna join the army too! lol Far-fetched maybe, but foreshadowing? Definately ;D. I mean, they did it with Spike and Giles in Restless acting like father and son, which happened in tabula rasa, and also spike mentioned something about sharks in restless, and he was on the run from a loan 'shark' in tabula rasa. I figure if wild stuff like that can be foreshadowed, then why not the Xander's eye storyline?

I think you are confusing foreshadowing with creative insight into looking back on old episodes and taking ideas. The simple fact is that Joss was not planning anything beyond season 5.
Not everything that happened in Restless came to pass and the only dream we can really take seriously is Buffys dream. She has prophetic dreams that much we know, so the fact that Xanders dream had the mention of "Sharks on land" to me, discredits it as foreshadowing

I heard that every shot or scene in Restless had a deeper meaning that was meant to be a hint of what was to come, though... Did I hear wrong?

how about the foreshadowing of Buffy's death in Faiths riddle thats one that always amazed me. That one was good. There was another mention of that in the end of "Restless", Tara says the clock is wrong because it is 7:30 (there would be less time before Buffy died). I also thought that when Cordelia told Giles, "Someday you're gonna wake up in a coma!" (in Gingerbread) was foreshadowing her waking up in a coma in "You're Welcome" on Angel. After all, she wasn't techically out of the coma, yet she "woke up" from it.

I thought the cordelia Line was just humour, but who knows how far ahead Joss was thinking.

Yeah, I always assumed it was humor, and it probably was. I just thought it was interesting how it was semi-true in the end.

A lot of humourous Joss lines end up meaning something later though, whether its deliberate or not - its still nifty
