What is your favorite season ender? Mine is season 2 because i was huge fan of the Buffy and Angel relationship. I also loved the season 7 ender, like, about the last 10 episodes. I think season 7 was the most eerie and dark towards the end. There were also so many elements that were very creepy.

ARGH too hard to choose. TOO HARD. Oh fine. The Gift I suppose. But I love them all. I choose the Gift because it had Buffy's death and there is pretty much nothing I dislike about it.

Oh my God
Becoming Part 2 Graduation Dat Part 2 Restless The Gift Chosen
This is an evil question created by an evil mind ;D
On emotional value its certainly a tie between The Gift and Becoming, though the song at the end of Becoming possibly tips the scale

Hmm. I hated season 7 ending. You should all know why. *tear* But I'd say my favorite finales were Restless and The Gift (very sad, but well done).

The Gift. It's very emotional and it really showed the extent of Joss's strengths - what other show would even dare to kill of its main character?!

Because it was the series finale. No more Buffy after that.

But it was a pretty good ending to the show. And there was still another year of Angel *throws everything possible at stupid networks*

Yeah, it was a great episode. It's just my anger that the show was over that makes me "dislike" it.
And there could have still been another year of Angel after that!

Restless is my least favorite of the seven, but still very enjoyable. I really can't choose!! But, I guess if I had to, I'd pick either The Gift or Chosen. I thought both of them showed growth in one or more of the characters (for instance, Buffy in The Gift and Anya and Spike in Chosen) and brought those characters full circle.

Becoming definately. I love the buffy/Angel sword fight, then his soul is returned *crys like a baby*
It was that episode that made me go from hooked to completely insane

Ooh, I have to say The Gift. That was an amazing episode. Joss Whedon is the master of pain.

It's got to be the Becoming part 2 for me. Age might have something to do with it as well but it really works for me. The climatic fight scene, tragic scene between Buffy and Angel. If I were the sort to cry during TV programmes I certainly would have at the end of this episode.

Becoming Pt. 2 was sad. I think that'd be the second saddest episode. The first had to be Buffy's death in The Gift.

I really liked season 7 ender (The Chosen). It explained where everyone was in their life and what might be in store for them after their 7 years in Sunnydale. I really enjoyed the series ending. It was a perfect way to end the 7 years of Buffy.

I had issues with Chosen. I always agreed with what Sarah Michelle Gellar said, they should've had Chosen as a two hour special. When you actually look beyond the emotion in Chosen, you can see that the actual plot of the episode is pretty... lame.

I agree. I don't remember that much, but I think it tried to do too much to quickly. From what I do remember it wasn't a bad episode but it should have been great. I much prefered Angel's Not Fade Away.

it was always going to be difficult for joss to give 7 yrs of a show justice in just one episode. True a 2hr special would have been fantastic but I still think the plot was a decent way to wrap it up

I agree. I don't remember that much, but I think it tried to do too much to quickly. That's what I mean. It was the last ever episode and Joss did succeed in ending the show by showing the audience the new positions that the scoobies were in at their lives both emotionally and physically. There was a lot of emotion to the episode which made the episode one of the best ever in the series, but I just felt the plot itself wasn't up to scratch. Buffy having this one revelation of turning all slayers into slayers... it seemed like that revelation took too long to come about and the emotional issues of kicking buffy out before prolonged that. i feel a two hour special might have given writers a chance to add to the plot, thicken it out a little more, and still keep the great emotional scenes from chosen in there.
