I have only put the main relationships (think I didn't miss any) involving the main characters - I know there are smaller ships (Lindsey/Eve, Angel/Nina, Cordy/Groo etc) and you can count them as other if you want. I thought it might be interesting to get a discussion going on your favourite ships on Angel. And don't count 'Bangel' under other - its a Buffy ship, not an Angel one.
My favourite is Wesley and Lilah. It was interesting, sexy and I love both characters. I am also a huge fan of Angel and Darla, I love their interactions together, both with human Darla and vampire Darla.

Yeah i will have to agree with you there. Some ships didnt get a chance to evolve like Cordy/Doyle or Wes/Fred. And the Fred/Gunn was almost like the Willow/Tara ship. A little on the boring side. I really like the Angel/Darla ship and i loved the flashbacks seeing them together and we got to see a really nice side to Darla just before she died which for some reason made me appreciate her more.
I had to go with Wes/Lilah because of the raw chemistry you got from them.

Of course it has to bes/ Lilah! at first it was just all bout the sex but in the end in some twisted way they really cared about each other. It would have been one of those relationships thatlasted forever even though they argued all the time.
I've also been a little converted on Cordy/Angel, given the progression in both Cordy and Angel I think you we're at a place where they understood each other completely...... and Lexie don't hate me......... They even understood each other better than Buffy/ Angel

i liked the cordy/doyle ship, i really wanted them to get it on, i always support the underdog, plus cordy was a nicer when she was training xander so that side of her could of came out again with doyle

I also picked Cordy/Doyle. I just loved them together and I like to imagine they would have lived happily ever after had he lived. (OK, so maybe not, but I can dream, can't I?)
I also ship Cangel. I know, I know, some people absolutely hate it, but season 4 aside I think it could have grown into something believable and realistic and wonderful.

I voted before and forgot to post. I voted Cordelia and Angel. Despite the hate people seem to have for it, I found it one of the more realistic and interesting relationships on either show. The brought out the best in each other. Fred with anyone was pretty boring to me.

I voted for Wes and Lilah because I loved the duplicity and complexity of it. Reminsicent of Spike and Buffy, it destroys all the conventions of a romantic relationships. It really isn't always about holding hands, it about displaying intriguing character development with all it's moral ambiguities.

I really liked the Lilah/ wes relationship because it was probably the most real, I've seen plenty of these love hate relationships that thrive on hatred and passion. Plus its a lot more interesting to watch that something thats all lovey dovey!

It let me vote so i assume i never voted before.... I went for Wes and Lilah. I just love them together. They are dark and sexy and in the weirdest way possible kind of right for each other. I also enjoyed Cordy and Doyle - i think the two of them could have been good together. Shame there was never a chance there. Wes and Fred i've bitched about in other threads - won't do it here as well  |

the angel /darla relationship was okl, but after watching them all again i think the wes and lilah ship was the best,
was wondering,what ship would you all have liked to of seen? i vote cordy/darla, no not really, actually yes i do, but seriously i think i would like to see a ship with spike and illaria

They are such a sweet couple and I like how Wes held a torch for her for so long and never let go even when he was with Lilah. I'm a sucker for relationships like this. ;D I would have been a Cordy/Doyle shipper if it ever happen.  |

I always thought that Doyle would be good for Cordy and her character. And I can just imagine the many bickering they would go into! I can totally picture them as a sweet and an amusing couple. So sad we didn't get to see that.  |

I always wished Cordelia and Doyle had had a real relationship, too. It was so sad when he died before they got a chance to really be together.  I also really liked Angel/Darla, mostly because Darla is my favorite character in Angel. I just love how she goes from evil vampire, to confused human, to confused vampire. I love her character!! But I had to vote Wesley/Fred. I'm a hopeless romantic, and I was cheering for Wesley the entire series. I was so happy when they got together!! Then she died.  I didn't like that part. |

Hmm...on paper it might seem like another Xander/Cordelia relationship where there's nothing but bickering and making out in the closet. But I don't think that would happen with Doyle. Yes, there will be bickering but not so much as with Xander. Cordelia grew quite a bit in season 1 of Angel. She's not the same Cordelia back in Sunnydale, hence, the relationship would be different as well. Doyle would be dating a much more mature Cordelia. And also, it seems like Cordelia really liked Doyle a lot and I don't think the relationship is just based on passion and the whole heat of the moment thingy only.  |

I agree. While both Cordy/Xander and Cordy/Doyle had the whole bickering, opposites attact kind of thing, to me both were very different. Cordy actually liked Doyle, and was trying to convince herself not to. Cordy/Xander was doomed to fail, since it was all about making out.
