Yes but how are they outsmarting them? Astronauts are trained for space, not for fighting for survival.

Cavemen. They are stronger, and their natural instincts are to fight. If they had weapons the astronaut might have a chance of outsmarting the caveman.

Cavemen. As Shaun said their nature is to fight, and because they weren't the most 'intellect' of species they had little fear. They would kick those astronauts arses. Incidentally what kind of weapons would be giving the astronauts.....?

LOL. There are no guns. No weapons of any kind. Anyway the caveman would charge at the astronaut before the astronaut could figure out how to use the gun. unless he was hiding up a tree or something  |

Never. Astronaut training is for going to space not fighting. How are they outsmarting the caveman who is probably 10 times stronger and better at fighting?

I voted for cavemen. They are way stronger(I'm assuming) and more resourceful. Also, being that they have to be ready for an attack, they probably would have good fighting skills. Astronauts, as said above, are trained for space, not fighting. I don't think fighting is any part of their job. Cavemen would have to know how to fight.

Well in terms of the show i would have to say Cavemen. It was the arguement about an Old One in Illyria not being able to be defeated by modern technology

Most astronauts are quite well trained in combat. Cavemen will rely solely on strength. If you believe the whole evolution thing i think its fair to say that Cavemen will ultimately be much stronger than we are today. So i would say Cavemen would get the victory
