Yeah Petunia had been there, yet when Harry asked the Dursley's where the platform was they all just laughed and Petunia didn't let him know. Cowbag. Yeah i also assumed that she meant James in regards to the Azkaban thing.

I think Petunia probably didn't want Vernon to know. Plus, she's a bitch.

What do you think about how Ron was able to speak Parseltongue during the battle and open the Chamber of Secrets? We know that the ability is extremely rare, is it possibly that he just copied Harry? Jo said that's what happened, but I think that maybe the Horcrux he was wearing around his neck gave him the ability.

The answer is probably what JKR says. But that's an interesting theory, Liz, about the horcrux giving him power. But it's just like we can mimic other languages and not speak them fluently and I think that's probably what happened with Ron.

Ron did pretend to be Wormtail when they were at the Malfoy's, so maybe he's just really good at voices?

Guess who *finally* read the book? Yup, that would be me. I absolutely *loved* it. I was dissapointed that Sirius didn't return, but I didn't really think he would.
The epilouge shocked me, it was just not her style at all. And although I loved the book I still have issues with Harry living happily ever after. That's ok, though.
I don't understand how Harry was able to cast the Crusciatus (that's spelled wrong) curse after someone spit on McGonagall, but not after Sirius's death. That was a little strange to me.
I loved Neville in it. It was perfect character development. It's was great to see previously insecure Neville as someone who took control of the D.A. in Harry's absence and stood up to Voldemort. I loved it.
I was surprised Molly Weasley was the one to kill Bellatrix. I loved the fight, but I wish it was aganist a different Death Eater. I really wanted Harry or Neville to kill her, but I guess it was too predictable.
Snape's story was great.
I can't believe both Remus and Tonks died! They just had a son!! That was awful.
The Horcrux hunt was done very well. I had been worried that it woulod be too rushed, but I was thankfully wrong.
I was shocked that Lucius Malfoy was worried about Draco. I had always been under the impression that he didn't care about his son at all.
And then there was Dumbledore's past! That was a great addition.
There's so much more that I want to say, but I just can't fit it in right now! I'll have to come back later...

I think that might be because he was older and had more advanced skills / could summon more hate? Yeah...I think that deep down Lucius really did love his wife and son, but just didn't show it.
