The trailer did look good up until the flying out of the window thing. I haven't read the book yet, but my sister my force me to this summer.

The flying out the window bit isn't even in the movie. I've also seen a clip where he says, "hold on spider monkey!" What.  |

I was surprise to see the flying out of window bit. I thought I missed it in the book (it's been a while since I've read it. I've just started rereading it).
And spider monkey? Geez I hope they don't destroy the book like how The Da Vinci Code movie did to the book. :-\

Yeah that's probably right. But the window? Weird. But from what I've read, it seems like this will be a pretty close adaptation.

I'm pretty sure they haven't. Although Edward does jump out the window in Bella's room, but not with her.

I think they decided it wouldn't be very cool if he just tackled her to a couch. I don't think he is flying I think he jumps out his window and onto a tree (super strength must mean good jumping... they do that kinda matrix thing with the jumping alot in the teasers so far) then he says "better hold on tight spidermonkey" (which as much as people have been against it I think its adorable.) I think this movie is going to be so good! I am excited.

They look so good together - set picture 1, 2. I think so far the actors are pretty well cast, except Esme doesn't look exactly how I'd pictured her. |

So who here is waiting in excitment for this movie? It comes out in Dec for me but I'm not all that excited for it (mostly because I don't understand why the huge craze fir it.  ) I'll watch it just to see how it differs from the book. Plus I'm not convinced about the guy playing Edward so I wanna see how that plays out. Apparently, the sequel is already in the works. |

I'm not SUPER excited, but I'm looking forward to - I don't know if I want to do on opening day though, I think it will be NUTS.

Robert Pattinson is perfect Irene! My friends and I think don't think so. I think it's because in the book, he is described as this amazingly goodlooking, greek god-like man so our expectations were pretty high. |

Um hello RPattz is HAWT. He is absolutely HILARIOUS in the interviews. I watched one where he called Smeyer 'insane'. He said he thought she was completely in love with her own characters and completely mental. He's obviously so freaked out by all the crazy fans that he doesn't care anymore! |

I've seen the movie twice finished the 1st book, I'm working on New Moon which is due out in theaters sometime in 2010 there's no given release date as of yet. But both Kristen,Peter will be returning the rest of the cast isn't listed yet but I'm sure they will be come this year when production begins.

I thought the movie was alright. I think Bella and Edward are well cast.
Catherine Hardwicke is not going to direct New Moon. Chris Weitz (About A Boy, American Pie, Golden Compass) is taking over.
