I didn't mind the movie. It wasn't nearly as laughable as i thought it had the potential to be considering the source material. I would have enjoyed it more if there were less screaming, clapping, panting, giggling, yelling, shouting, hysterical chippy idiots there Though it die down a little in our section after i threatened one little moron with violence.

Yeah I was surprised there wasn't any manic fans when I went - although it was a 9.30 session.

Yes that would have been preferable to the session we attended. I think i missed a fair few things because of the hysterical screaming etc Might get it on DVD one day.

1st time around the theater wasn't as packed as I thought it would be, the second time around there were like five people in the theater so I didn't really have to worry. It wasn't like the late showing of HP4 I believe it was I had to attend because the early showing was sold out, anyways back on topic I'm also surprised there weren't any manic fans although practically every store in the mall had twilight fan memorabilia.

I've convinced Raimon to take me during the Christmas holidays.

I caught the movie this afternoon and I thought it was bad. I really think it was too over the top. So over dramatic that it was funny. Everyone in the theater were laughing at the dramatic scenes. Plus, Robert Pattinson looked constipated throughout the movie. I thought he was bad as Edward. He didn't have any chemistry at all with Stewart.
I like Stewart as Bella though and I like the movie version of Charlie a lot more than the book version. Enjoyed his interaction with Edward and Bella the most. His scenes with them were the most tolerable ones in the movie in my opinion. Also, are we suppose to laugh at Jasper whenever he was on screen? That's what we did whenever he appeared. It was hilarious.
I wished the Cullen family had more screen time and I HATE that they redid the whole meadow scene. The whole sparkling thingy was done badly too.
Yeah, I really think the director got it all wrong for this one.

AS IF YOU COULD OUT-RUN ME! AS IF YOU COULD FIGHT ME OFF!
I liked the lighting used...thought it looked pretty cool.

The way Edward was lying in the meadow was hilarious. So awkward.

I suppose like in the book, he just didn't want to bite her instead.
I liked the movie though, they did well to get it all in 2 hours (I think it was 2 hours). And I agree the sparkly bit in the forest could have been done better. The only problem was I kept talking to raimon through the whole movie, telling him what was going to happen and explaining bits and comparing bits to the book. I don't think he'll take me to see the next one lol.

My friend Jo saw it the other day and loved it. She didn't even know it was a book though

I wonder how long we'll have to wait for the next movie.... and for Twilight to hit stores?? The film adaptation for New Moon is scheduled for release in late 2009 or early 2010, with a tentative release date of November 20, 2009. I'm guessing Australia will get it some time around then. I had to explain a few things to my friend - but we were the only ones in the front section and were very quiet.

i just remembered a gripe I had with the movie.... I forgot about it until I started watching Angel. The Hissing, or growling or whatever they want to call it. Am I the only one who thought it sounded like heavy breathing and not realistic (or animalistic) at all.
And for Loz, I don't normally talk through movies, it's just because I knew what was happening. And I kept it to a quiet whisper lol
