Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and her rocker hubby Pete Wentz welcomed son Bronx Mowgli Wentz, their first child together, Thursday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

I had heard they were calling the baby Jack after The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Seriously? Wow. I'm surprise. I thought it would be some comedian. Heath Ledger got a Golden Globe nom for his role as The Joker (Best Supporting Actor). |

Hugh is a good choice. He is lovely and smart and funny and it will get a lot of people watching the Oscars that normally wouldn't i think And his hosting of the Tony's a couple of years ago was awesome. I remember him getting SJP up to dance with him and it was highly amusing |

No idea, i only saw the year he won the Tony for a A Boy from Oz at the awards he was hosting and then won an Emmy for hosting it. He made SJ dance with him and she was wearing a strapless dress and had great fear of falling out Edit: Found it on youtube |

John Travolta's 16-year-old son was found dead in Bahamas.  John Travolta's teenage son, Jett, died in the Bahamas after falling ill and hitting his head at his family's vacation home. That's so sad. What a tragic way to start the new year. |

I've heard that he had a history of seizures, and because they're Scientologists, they wouldn't let him take medication? But medication doesn't guarantee anything...I dunno.

A couple of articlesAs well as being very sad its all a bit weird really. Lots of conflicting reports. Poor kid was obviously not well though  I really hope nothing in the way of treatment was denied to him because of their beliefs. |

I read he was given medication for his seizures but stopped because he was suffering from side effects. So I don't really know what's going on there.
Plus, some are saying he has autism but Travolta's lawyers are denying it as their beliefs don't believe in autism (whatever that means).

Angelina didn't look real impressed Almost as amusing as when Ryan Seacrest stood there like a little fanboy on the red carpet trying to get Brad and Angelina to talk to him. Not sure what the hell the Cate Blanchet comment was about from the 30 Rock dude..... cause she is very pale??  Sasha Cohen's little bit fell very flat. I thought the Madonna comment was pretty funny myself. |

I giggled when Ryan Seacrest tried to talk to Angelina and Brad. I didn't get the Blanchet thing either. I did enjoy the program, even if Leo didn't win. I was rooting for him, but I was sure he wouldn't get it. The Wrestler looks pretty good, so I'm sure Rourke deserved it. |
