I was really glad to read that! I am, however, a little upset that Leo was snubbed. I haven't seen Revolutionary Road or anything, but I always root for him.

Having seen Revolutionary Road (dodgy copy filmed in a theatre somewhere ) i can say Leo was ripped off. He was phenomenal. So was Kate. Cannot believe either or them missed out on nominations.

I forgot about the SAG's until i got home from my BBQ and turned the computer on Heath won Best Supporting. Has to be the shortest price favourite for an Oscar in many, many years now ;D

I've forgotten about the SAGs too. I'm wondering whether Heath would have won any of the awards that he has so far if he's alive. I mean, I know he deserves it but would have won it if he didn't die?

I know what you mean Irene - I think he would have, it was a brilliant performance.

Oh I'm not saying it wasn't. I'm just curious. I always thought that he should have won the Oscar for his performance in Brokeback but he didn't. So I'm wondering whether his death have swayed the voters somehow.

Not exactly gossip but i have been watching the Australia Unites telethon all night. All the actors and actresses, musicians, sportspersons etc has been great And i think they are up to $70 million or something which is pretty incredible. Have to say i'm a big Orlando Bloom fan right now. He was just lovely

Russell Crowe is going to be playing "Robin Hood". Now i love the story of Robin Hood but i won't be watching it if RC is in this movie even if Cate Blanchett is playing Maid Marion.

I take it you don't like Russell Crowe? Just his acting or personality? Or he just won't be good for the part?

You don't like RC? I'm not a big fan of him either but I'll catch it if it looks good. And isn't he a bit too chubby to play Robin Hood?

I take it you haven't seen a picture of him recently? He's not chubby. I think it will be good. Like Russell and Cate

I just think Russell is boring to watch. I liked Gladiator, the story was good and he played that part well. But that's it for him.

Well he was on our Bushfire telethon and you see him every week at the Rabbitohs games and he's not out of shape at all.
