It is really sad. When you're out doing something fun like skiing, you don't expect something bad is going to happen.

Skiing can be a pretty dangerous pastime and sport. I don't understand why she wasn't wearing a helmet

Liam Neeson's wife Natasha Richardson died after a skiing accident. So sad. I didn't really know who she was until I found out who she was married to and who she was related to. Very sad indeed.

One of the things I wanna do this year is go skiing. This news kinda makes me think twice. I'll still go but I'll definitely be more careful.

I don't know if i would wear a helmet now, i've had a fair bit of experience (used to go a lot before i buggered my ankle ). But in my opinion a beginner should always wear one. I think its compulsory on most ski fields in Australia for beginners (certainly those taking a beginners lesson). I would have thought it would be similar everywhere honestly

When I go skiing (Utah), I only see snow-boarders wearing a helmet.

I had a lesson once, as a total newbie at it and I never wore a helmet. But there was absolutely nothing I could have hit my head hard on around the slopes we were learning on (barring other people). What was it she hit her head on and how could she have stumbled so far on a beginners lesson They teach you how to fall before letting you go on any slopes, or at least my lesson did. But I suppose even an experienced skiier could have an accident like this Makes me thankful that when Bernie had his skiing accident last winter that he was ok. He blacked out after a fall.

Aww I bet she'll have red hair! How cute that they have the same birthday.
Interesting name. Apparently: the name satyana comes from two sanskrit roots: sat, which means truth or being, and also refers to action aligned or suffused with spirit; and yana, which means vehicle. So "satyana" means a vehicle for action infused with the grace of spirit.

I read somewhere that AH natural hair colour isn't red. Not sure how true is that though.

Yeah, that's what I thought. It looks very real so the article might not be true.

A Malawian court has ruled that US pop star Madonna has failed in her bid to adopt a second child from the country. The Associated Press news agency said Madonna's application had been rejected because of a requirement that prospective parents be resident in the southern African state for 18 to 24 months. In other baby news, Jamie Oliver's wife Jools gave birth to their third daughter, named Petal Blossom Rainbow. Here's a photo.

Jimmy Kimmel cracked a joke saying how pissed is that Malawian child going to be when they grow up and find out they could have been adopted by Madonna? I thought that was funny.
