I have, forgot to post. Pretty good episode overall. Agree that Sookie was being a whinger. Tara - boring. Sam and Bill - very nice. Even better would be Sam and Eric! And Eric - perfection, as usual Looking forward to the next episode tomorrow!

Episode 2. I liked this episode a lot. I think it was better than the season premiere. - Interesting to see the Vampire King of Mississippi, I think this storyline is going to be quite interesting. - Good Eric bits. -Pam looks skinnier. Did she take the rotting guy? Poor old Jessica - I hope she gets back together with Hoyt ASAP. - Not particularly interested in Sam and his biological family. - I did, however, like seeing Lafayette's mother. Apparently Jesus (Santos from Ugly Betty!) will be a potential love interest? That should be good.

Episode 2 The King of Mississippi is great and so is Talbot I am wondering how they will work Bill's angle, in the books it is a Vampire Database he compiled about every living and deceased vampire that the King is after. Seems like an odd thing to have been left off the show completely - especially as it is referenced in later books. Meh. Andy and Jason.... Sigh. Move along already. Though jasons "I caught me a drug dealer!" was classic I love the introduction of Crystal (that is the blonde chickie Jason saw run off into the bushes) And yay Calvin appeared Eric is still fabulous. I love his confliction with any human emotion, though I find it hard to believe he wasn't more in control in 1945 in Germany. He is over 1000 years old, not the young vampire they portrayed him as there. I think Pam would have taken the dead body. I want more Pam, there wasn't enough in that episode imo. NO interest in Sam and his family. I like Sam, but who cares. Back to the weres and vamps please! Lafayette I adore him even if his Tara scenes are boring. Franklin Mott's first appearance was good, I liked how he was with Tara and I like the actor they got for him. BOOH TO NO ALCIDE.

Episode 3 (is no one else watching?) The scenes with Sam and his family and with Jason are boring me. I have nothing at all to say to those besides Liked the few scenes with Lafayette. Wonder what Eric is playing at by being nice to him. Laughed at him selling the car for a dollar. Eric is was good in this episode, as always. Pam also... want more Pam Bill sleeping with Lorena... I knew it was coming but I didn't expect it to be so violent and gross I did enjoy the flashbacks to his wife though. As for Franklin, I still like him though he is so creepy

It's coming to Austar in August. Ep 5 Franklin is nuts! But my gosh it's so funny, especially his texting to Lafayette. It was good seeing Eric's human life, very interesting to see how that will play out. And I hope Sookie gets Lorena!!

I haven't seen ep 5 yet, watched ep 4 the other night. Franklin is indeed nuts. Tying Tara to the toilet and then taping flowers to her hand? Creepy! I loved seeing Eric's fear of Pam being hurt, poor Pam I hope that magister gets his I don't like the story with Jason. He is threatening Andy when Andy is protecting him from life in prison

She is doing the smart thing playing along though. I don't get why Bill went to warn Sookie to leave, he wouldn't help Tara. I hope Sookie finds out about why he had the dossier on her, I am very glad they are sticking to that part of the books. Human Eric as a viking Lafayette and his date SO OVER the Sam storyline though it is far better than the Jason one.

Episode 6 Go Tara!! She showed some real strength and smarts in this episode. Sookie proved to be an idiot. She thinks she is far too special to be killed. Loved Eric in this episode, from his flirting with the King, to his treatment of Sookie and the Queen. I do think he is planning on helping Sookie if he can, but he's smart enough not to show it. Unlike Bill. I hope Sookie learns the extent of his betrayal soon and that they reveal how it was the Queen that set him up to seducing Sookie. Lorena torturing him was a bit gross. Sucked in Sookie for getting caught, I agreed with Tara - you stupid cow! I'm assuming though that this is to follow the book with Lorena getting killed by Sookie and then her rescuing Bill. I am now wondering if they will have the Trunk scene. (Wont mention what happens in that for those that havent read the book) Poor Lafayette, he and Jesus were cute together. Still not interested in Jason's arc, though Sam's got slightly more interesting. Arlene is becoming more like Arlene in the books. I'll end up hating her at this rate

Episode 7 SOOKIE IS PISSING ME OFF. I am sick of her being such an idiot, but still not as sick as I am of Sam's storyline. I do not care about his family AT ALL. Tara is doing a fantastic job, she is a very strong character.
Is Franklin dead? I didn't think so, he didn't do that explodey thing. I love Franklin, he's so hilariously insane. Although, he represents a horrible reality - domestic abuse etc. James Frain is just such a good actor. I liked him in Where the Heart Is (love that movie).
Yay for Lorena dying. She was boring me.

Episode 7 SOOKIE IS PISSING ME OFF. I am sick of her being such an idiot, but still not as sick as I am of Sam's storyline. I do not care about his family AT ALL. Tara is doing a fantastic job, she is a very strong character. Sookie is a twit. A total and utter twit. When she got in the back of the van i rolled my eyes. I've read the book so I knew what was coming (though in the book he rapes her instead of draining her blood, Debbie pushed her into the trunk of a car she didnt volunteer to get in and Tara wasn't there. Bill also obviously didnt save Sookie from anything in book 3 - Eric did. The show is changing some things around because after this point in the book - and one other thing that will be revealed soon in the show I think - Bill is basically written out other than 'guest' appearances and they won't do that on the show.
Sam's story was more interesting this week at least. Good on him for abusing that wretched family of his and good on Tommy.
Loving Tara in this season. I don't think Franklin is dead, cause as you said he didn't explode. They could bring him back or leave him dead, not sure. Would be fine by me either way. That follows the books, Sookie did kill her in them too. But Bill did not help. Some additional thoughts of mine... Still not loving Jason, and don't give a crap about Hoyt's new girlie. I am however looking forward to what will happen with Jason's character so I want them to bloody well get there already Glad Cooter got shot. The actress playing Debbie did it well too, trailer trash I like that they gave her some reason to be hating Alcide, they didn't do that in the books. The fairy scene was ridiculously stupid. I don't like the casting of Claudine. WTF with Sookie having no blood type. Sure she is part fairy, she is in the books too. (This is what Hadley whispered to Eric I'm pretty sure). But Jason is as well and he has fairy blood too. Guess they aren't giving him that in the show - suppose that is fine since in the books it isn't an important thing. I don't like the glowy hand power or the fact her blood gives resistance to the sun. Blergh. Decent ep but a bit gorey.

Beck - Is Coot dead? I thought Grant Bowler (aka voiceover guy from Border Security ) is doing a good job. I think there's too many story lines this season. Every character has a different one! It's getting a bit confusing. Agree that that fairy scene was stupid. I was rolling my eyes quite a bit. That's interesting about Bill in the books. I'm getting pretty sick of him, more Eric please! Love his interactions with Pam. Interesting that he's older than Sophie-Ann, but he's still lower in rank than her. Or did I miss something?

He got shot in the face and had brain out the back of his head, I think it would be fair to say he is dead.
They should keep Franklin in it, he is amusing.

Re both of your posts - Yeah Coot is dead.
I agree there are quite a few storylines but I haven't found them confusing yet.
Pam is fabulous, she is one of my favourite characters in the books and I am glad they have shown more classic Pam moments. Her and Eric are awesome together, I hope we get to see Pam/Eric flashbacks.
I found Franklin really funny too, but I am happy enough if they don't bring him back too.

Coot - I thought it might have been one of those silver bullet deals. Didn't see the brain etc.

Yah it might be but Debbie's reaction clinched it that he was dead.

Re Franklin - I'm curious whether they will bring him back, how much does a vamp recovered from their head and brain being completely beaten in? I don't think he is dead, but I don't know if they will continue the storyline. I'm cool with it either way

Episode 8 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Talbot Ok I understand why but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I love Talbot Sneaky Eric. HOT HOT scene <fans self>. I liked Russell's reaction, and the way he dropped everything he was doing to get to Talbot. That won't end well for Eric (or Pam). I wish Sookie had listened to Eric's message. I can't believe she got back with Bill. She knows about Lorena, and after what he did I can't wait until she finds out it was Sophie-Ann that sent Bill to seduce her! Why the hell hasn't she asked Bill why he was keeping a file on her and her family? Daft twit. I get that they want to draw out her relationship with Bill as long this season as they can since she has no interest in being with him after Book 3 (Season 3) but it is ridiculous. I was glad she didn't kill Debbie yet, since Bill isn't supposed to be there. Ah Lafayette, I fall more in love with you. He's a good man. I am more interested in his scenes now. Jason, YOU ARE A DUMB ASS. I feel terrible for Terry I don't like Arlene but I hope Terry doesn't get too badly hurt.
