Episode 8 This season is still not my favourite. It seems too all over the place. I'd forgotten Hadley is Sookie's cousin. I'm not surprised she got back together with Bill - they didn't even really break up. Tablot and Eric were gooood. Pity he staked him. I would have liked to see that...drawn out...over...a...few...episodes Jessica and Hoyt need to get back together! I hope Jessica stops turning to the dark side. Still bored of Jason and Sam's stories. Snore. I'm glad they're bringing Rene back (in a way) - so if it's his baby, the whole Maryann storyline must have only taken place over a few weeks... Eww at Sookie and the scissors!

Liz - Everything will connect, it is already starting to. Even the stuff with Jason and Crystal connects with later stuff. Not the stuff with Sam though, that is just daft.
And yep from Season 1 to now has only been about 2-3 months.

Episode 9 It was eh. But i did love the end: "Why would we seek equal rights? You are not our equals. We will eat you. After we eat your children. Now, time for the weather. Tiffany?" Very cool

Episode 9 Ah Russell... his speech was hilarious Very eww on the spine-ripping part though Oh and sucked in to the "Authority" - you better give Eric some help now! Go Sam... letting his anger and frustrations out on Crystal's dad Crystal is a dumb twit. I am guessing the bigger part of the Jason/Crystal story won't be until the start of Season 4 - the possible cliff hanger I am thinking now. I saw the trailer for next weeks and it looks like that will be the week Bill finally tells Sookie the truth and she dumps his ass. Bill in fairy land was stupid. I dislike fairy land. Booh to Franklin being dead. WTF does Jason have wooden bullets in his gun? I kind of agree honestly, there felt like a lot was happening and nothing was happening in this episode. Felt like a "lets get everything in place for the big finish" ep (only 3 to go for the season).

I am not sure why they brought Franklin back for the episode just to have him killed in the same scene. I get Tara needed closure, but she should have had that if she killed him herself, or they could have had him in more than just that one scene.

They probably didn't have time to have him in more than the one scene

Episode 10 Yeah this wasn't a great episode. I don't know WTF they were doing with the V trip but I wanted to hit the fast forward on it. The whole thing was filler, and boring. The Russell shit and Eric shit was amusing but the rest of it I could have easily skipped.

I did skip through the trip! So didn't care I think it was fairly dodge all round. I'm starting to go off it honestly, so it better improve the last couple of eps! The characters are pretty much all shitting me, the only exceptions would be Eric and Jessica and Russell amuses me.

Re ep 10 I am loving Jessica and Hoyt more and more. Sucked in Tommy, I really dislike that character. Wish they'd hurry up and get rid of him. And sucked in Arlene. I was hoping Terry would give her the flick. This ep was very much setting up the two part finale. From the hints at Bill to tell Sookie the truth, to Sookie and Eric's growing attraction (which will set up the entire next season's main plot), to Crystal revealing what she is to Jason (Setting up to Jason's getting kidnapped and the Hot Shots main plotline). I can only guess that Jesus and Lafayette will tie into the witches for next season. So not only are they setting up the finale, they are setting up next season. I don't like what they did to Sam. I do not like that they turned him into a murderer. I don't like how Jason told Tara about Eggs. Bad timing you twit. LOVED Jason kicking Bill out of his house. Bill you are a tool. Best parts were all the Eric parts. His yelling at his human lover was hilarious "Gold digging whore!" I suspect she is actually Hallow (main bad witch from book 4). Pam and Eric were great in this ep as always. Russell is seriously disturbed, knew from the get go that prostitute was going to be killed. Ack Ep 11 promo

The finale better be good because the last couple of episodes haven't been great. Half of the scenes are boring me. I don't care about Lafayette, Sam, Jason or Arlene's scenes. And I'd be happier if Sookie did die because she is painfully stupid.

I agree entirely. So many parts of Ep 11 i was tempted to fast forward through I really can't stand Sookie. I want to kill her. Bill is also painful as hell. They are losing me, I don't have a whole lot of patience for shows where I want the leads dead and I get the itch to flick!!

I didn't think it was that bad, but not as good as previous ones. Laughed out loud when Pam pepper sprayed Bill with silver. Sucked in Bill, go Pam! The Eric/Pam moment was very sweet, and her tears when she was watching him out in the sun about to die. I don't know how Eric is going to get out of that since Russell is older and should burn slower. I am hoping Bill doesn't give Sookie blood again, the girl should be a vampire by now with the amount of vamp blood she has had I am pleased to see she was so open about not trusting Bill, she looks to have had enough of him (finally) I wanted to slap Arlene. Poor Terry And ffs a magical abortion is still an abortion you silly twit. I don't understand why she is trusting Holly either, I wouldn't be. I am not sure where they will go with the Tara/Jason/Andy storyline with Eggs. Tara seemed to understand after Andy explained what happened. Not sure why she is off having sex with Sam, his storyline seems to have come out of nowhere. He was an ass this episode. Tommy looked like he was getting set to rob Sam, I wish he had never been written into the show Agree about Lafayette/Jesus. Don't care. At all.

Eric will be fine because Sookie will f**k it up. She has screwed up every other plan with her loserness

Eric will be fine because he is a major characters in all the books But I am interested in how he will get out of it. Sookie is incapacitated atm. I suspect the other fairies will get involved and possibly Sookie's grandfather will save Eric but who knows.

They have changed it up before. Isn't Lafayette dead in the books? Killing Eric would be a bad idea though, he is pretty much the only reason I'm still vaguely interested and I don't think I'm the only one thinking and saying that.

They have changed a lot but mostly with the minor characters as they aren't in the books that much - the books are through Sookie's eyes only so anything she isn't around for isn't mentioned in the books unless she is being told about it. The major storylines are still there, just changed up a bit for the show. Lafayette still isn't a major character, whereas in the book Eric is a much more major character than everyone else except Sookie. There is no way they could write him out of the series without getting rid of every single major story point for the rest of the books/seasons.

Man it sounds like you guys are hating this season. From what i've seen of it, it has been good so far i think. Although i feel that the vampires/wolves thing is getting alittle old. Ever since Underworld that's all anyone is doing. Even on the new show The Gates.

I'm not hating the season, but I have found the last couple of episodes to be a bit draggy and filler-ish.
