I haven't been enjoying this season that much which is a shame because I loved this book. This is the only season that the major differences have really bothered me.

Just get over the books mate. Just watch the show for the show and take it as a separate entity. From what I can gather Ball is using them less and less. And hell, after everyone banged on about this damn "shower scene" I clicked on a link to it in a review the other day and damn, have even less interest in the books now! That's it? Seriously?!  Nothing special about it and not that well written IMO. Anyway, soppy and annoying Eric aside i am really liking this season. I hope the werepanthers stay out of the picture. Could not care less about that story. I still want Tara dead. And the ghost thing with the baby I can take or leave. |

I do see it as separate, if I didn't I'd have had a lot more complaints about the first 3 seasons. This season it bothers me because the 4th book is my favourite and I am not enjoying this season very much.

That disappoints me yes, but me loving that book and it being different isn't why I am not enjoying this season much. Bernie isn't either and he hasn't read the books. I enjoyed last season a lot and it was extremely different to the book, that doesn't bother me that much.

I don't think Shaun is caught up, but i know Tuzz is like me and is really liking this season. None of us have read the books.
For the first time in the shows existence I haven't wanted to stab the lead character. Bill isn't annoying me either. And as a whole it's a lot more enjoyable than the season of boring orgies thats for sure! Also, while there is a a lot of stuff going on its not all over the place and full of dull filler like the end of last year was. I would just like old Eric back. The soppy version shits me.

I've been waiting for Debbie to crack up and they are showing it well, you can see it slowly building up that she's going to go nuts. More Alcide is always good  And for the first time I am vaguely interested in Sam's story. Tommy's however I am not, I want him to disappear There was a distinct lack of Pam for most of episode 8, wished we saw more of her but what little she was there she was great. I also wished Bill had let her kill Tara I don't feel bad for Jessica either, while I love her character I don't think she should have gone running to Jason like that. But Hoyt was far too harsh on her imo. Her dream made me laugh though |

I didn't like this week. Got annoyed. And bored. But I did like that Jessica owns a Twilight book and Taylor Swift CD I was disappointed with the threesome dream. When Sookie grabbed Bill and Eric's head I thought something else was going to happen.... |

Yeah not quite Bec How weird must a scene like that be to film with a real husband and wife in there!! Jessica is my favourite chick in the show. I think she is great. I didn't mind the ending for the ghost lady either. And I thought Terry was sweet when he said he still loved Lafayette. |

Caught up on the last two eps. Sookie's dream had too much talking in it I liked the end to the baby drama, thought it worked out well. And Jesus is slowly growing on me, I no longer hate him and want him gone. He was good with that and with Marnie. Tara didn't bug me in these eps either. Tommy obviously had a death wish seeing Marcus and co as Sam, his end was a bit sad but I can't be unhappy he is dead - I hated that character. Loved the end with the 4 vamps turning up in black and armed. Pam's reunion with Eric was sweet too. |

Ep 11 Eric drinking from the heart valve like a straw was one of the best things i have seen on TV in ages. SO good to have him back!! And i agree with Pam about the "gash in a sundress"( pure gold comment by the way), Sookie is NOT worth it!! I would have blown her up before see Eric and Bill top themselves. Love how she took the necklace too. That was great. Jason and Jessica i continue to like and support. Alcide continues to be DAMN fine WTF is the fairy doing Andy for though?!? And Lafayette better not die with stupid Marnie in him. He amuses me! Season finale looks good. Bring on next week. |

Ep 11 Loved the "heart slurpee" lol. Glad Eric is back to his old self. And the way Eric and Bill were ignoring Sookie... I wonder if they've gone off her a bit? Pam taking the necklace was great! Super-glad Alcide got rid of Debbie, his little speech was very uh permanent. Marnie was a total fruitball, I hope Lafayette will be ok, but I think it might come down to Jesus saving him. Then I wonder what will happen with Jesus because he channeled some big family magic to sort out Marnie. As for Andy, maybe the fairy is something for next season? But his intervention with Terry was great, loved it |

Finale Alcide, Alcide, Alcide  JM is so divine. Loved his little chat with Sookie. She is an idiot of course but that speech was so very tempting surely With that and Eric and Bill on the table she does a Kelly Taylor and chooses no one? WTF? Eric and Bill on the pyre = awesome. "Excuse me, we're a little crispy up here." Taking down Nan - "What a bitch!" Eric rocks. Poor old Jesus. I actually didn't mind him. Lafayette can't win  Jason you dickhead. How hot did Jessica look when she turned up on his doorstep?! They are so strange but right somehow. Andy and Holly was pretty cute. Pam continues to have the best quotes Sookie and her "precious fairy vagina" and "unbelievably stupid name". Gold. Scott Foley!! I actually did a little clap. Russell is back! Yay!! Tara is finally dead (AP holding her was some damn powerful acting)!! And Sookie shoots Debbie's head off! Holy shit! Awesome ending. Just awesome. |

Finale - Loved every momeny Pam was on screen, more Pam next season I hope! Eric and Bill getting along too I liked. Hopefully they don't spend all next season mooning over Sookie, that would get a bit boring. And Alcide... you won't be able to leave, I am guessing since he killed Marcus he will become the new were pack leader (its all a bit different in the book but he does end up packleader in those and I think they will make that happen in the series, though doing it very different) Jessica and Jason... eh while they are fairly cute together I hate what Jason is doing to Hoyt as I thought their friendship was really good. Poor Lafayette I wonder how much Jesus will continue to turn up, making Lafayette a medium has opened up quite a few dead characters to make appearances. Tara maybe? Bit of a shock her head half being blown off, didn't expect that. Did expect Debbie to die - that scene where she bursts in on Sookie with a gun is in the book only no one else dies there. I still don't give a crap about Sam and his relationship. I am liking Holly more. WTF with the ghost and Arlene. Nooooo don't have bad things happen to Terry Next season should be a good one. Few deaths to get over, the council of vampires being pissed off, Russell being back which will cause more trouble there, and possibly pretty big stuff with Lafayette and Alcide. |
