I watched Goallisimo this morning, and they show games from all of the leagues around the world, when they were showing the MLS (major soccer league) which is USA obviously, NY were against Toronto and Reyna was taking a corner kick, but there were tonnes of streamers and he got tangled up in them and couldnt see the ball and the commentator is saying "I love to see this, the passion" and I was thinking 'wow, if that happend here the officials would be getting a right go over for not getting the streamers out of the way . I am so excited , not long to go to the Uefa cup Final!, and my team won 3-1 today, which keeps us in a great position for Cup number 2 of 4! , although Zenit beat Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich have no idea how to defend , they are hopeless, which is no doubt why Getafe sliced a few past them to .

And how fitting it was that Giggs, our oldest and most decorated player (he has 10 titles!), would be the one who scored the goal that made the title ours. I'm so proud of my boys.

How shocked was I to see man City were Thumped 8-1! havent seen a score like that in a long long time. I was shocked as well. I never would have thought Boro will be the one who will score 8 goals against a good team like Man City. I was glad Birmingham went down. I don't really like them. But I am disappointed that Reading went down as well. I always thought of them as a good team and I rooted for them ever since they came up. And I like their manager.

I was saying to my parents, surely Man city were playing with 9 men and no Goalkeeper, that was the only liable excuse, but it wasnt true!.
I love Alex McLeish , I think he is great , mainly because he done great things when he managed my team.

I'm actually surprise that Birmingham went down. I always thought Alex McLeish is a great manager. Didn't he do wonders for the Scotland national team as well? It's a shame we won't get to see him perform in the Permiere League next season. He looks to be the kind of manager who will do well. But I never liked Birmingham ever since they first came up. Something about them rubs me the wrong way.

Yes he did, I just hope Birmingham keep him, Football teams (well chairmen) seem to drop the managers when the teams do badly, but hey they would be crazy to drop him!. I dont have many favourite managers though, Alex McLeish, Walter Smith & Alex Ferguson. I am sooo Excited, The Cup final is today! I am looking forward to a good game, and of course I hope Rangers win! I dont see why we shouldnt beat Dick Advocaats (another Ex rangers manager) team. I am even more excited knowing how much money, just playing in the final will bring the team .

So we got beat 2-0 in the end, always Breaks yer heart to see your team lose, especially seeing the look on your players faces after the game but it is a hell of an accomplishment to get to a Uefa final, especially for a Scottish club! I cant wait to see what that money brings us in the Summer! Now we can focus on our last cup final and league games!. Goodluck to Man U for the Final Irene!

Was it a close match, Nico? I didn't watch the game (was too early in the morning for me ) but I saw the highlights on the news and seeing how the first goal came around the 70th minute (and the second in the final minutes), I assume it was a tightly fought match. It's always heart breaking to watch your team lose. I know I will cry if Man U ends up the same way. So we got beat 2-0 in the end, always Breaks yer heart to see your team lose, especially seeing the look on your players faces after the game but it is a hell of an accomplishment to get to a Uefa final, especially for a Scottish club! And you good luck to your Rangers for their remaining games. I think with the European Cup loss, the players will be more determine than ever to win their remaining games and get the Treble to make up for the European loss.

It was very tight, we pushed alot of players forward leaving our defence wide open, and when a striker gets behind your last man you know they should always hit the target, and they did, they scored the the 2nd around the 90th minute (which I guess you would expect since we pushed every player into there half of the field) . We want that Champions league place I think 2 teams go threw to the champions league and 1 to the Uefa cup (for Scotland) . It is always to much to handle at this point , I think it may end up the same as Man U/Chelsea , both teams play there last games on the final day of the league which is just nerve racking!

Eeek! I'm so excited! The final is in about 12 hours time. I don't think I can sleep tonight. I see it as a very tight game, would be a narrow win. But I have faith that my boys will come out on top. 2-1 win to us. ;D

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate it when games are decided by penalties because I think it's unfair - plus it's not good for the heart. But this is one win I'm not complaining about. ;D CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a big fan of him but he proved me wrong after this match. ;D It's funny, I was telling my Uncle how ironic it would be for Ronaldo to miss the penalty and he did! I almost died then.

What a great game! I was on the edge of my seat all the way threw! Great football and Blood! , beautiful goal from Ronaldo, and aww bless him, Man U were celebrating and Ronaldo was face down on the pitch , I feel so sorry for Chelsea to, Terry wouldn't have skied that penelty if it wasnt for his slip, I am sure he is gutted. It has always been my dream that Sir Alex Ferguson would come home and manage the Scotland national team, but with the seasons he has been having with Man U I think he might be close to retirement!. I am happy for all the Man United players and fans, (except Tevez, he bugs me ) , and I feel for Chelsea , I know what its like to be second best. I was hoping it wouldnt reach penelties, like you said Irene, they arent good for the heart !

I'm not a big fan of him but he proved me wrong after this match. ;D LOL... you know, I'm happy for him because he played for the team I root for (Juventus) back in 1999-2001. I heavily disliked how Juventus' executives treated him and decided to replace him after those two years, despite telling him that they were going to confirm him. At the last minute, they changed their mind and bought another goalkeeper (Buffon, our current one, which admittedly is one of the worlds' best, but that's not the point). It was one of the most dishonest behaviours I have ever witnessed and I was very upset by that. Now, he proved them wrong. And that makes me truly happy for him. As a side note... those "executives" were the same ones who got themselves involved in the supposed match-fixing scandal, which caused the loss of two titles and having the team sent one category down (Series B)

I will. I'm always supporting England in competitions like this as I watch a lot of the English league and I have a soft spot for them. But since they are not in the competition, I have no idea who I'll support. Probably Portugal. :-\
