ooh interesting. It'd be cool to have Kaka in the premiership but I think he'd struggle with the work load. Imagine Ronaldo and Kaka together if it worked it would be unbelieveable but if they let their ego's in they'd have some decent fights! I don't think Ronaldo would ever go to Italy though, he's gonna be at United for a long time

Giggs was the Captain but he may as well have stayed on the plane. He was awful to say he is so experienced. Scholesy played his little heart out though. I thought Scholes was aweful as well. He was overly cautious - because of his yellow card - and he didn't dominate the midfield with Carrick like he did in the first leg. I'm moving on and turning my attention to the League. I'm counting on the boys to get the job done tomorrow and bag the trophy. Then the FA Cup. Sir Alex was right when he said that the Milan players looked fresher. Chasing three titles would do the opposite to us. I think we should just concentrate on two trophies per season instead of three. It would help us in the long run. About Kaka going to England, I won't be surprise if Chelsea puts an offer for him. But I don't think Ronaldo will leave United anytime soon.

well for one thing he's just signed a 5 year deal and there's no way we'd let him go back on that. Plus he's settled in the premiership now and he's playing fantastic football and winning every award going!
I hope the darby can spur us on tomorrow, if we win we have a real chance to bag the premiership with Chelsea at Arsenal we could get 6 points up as long as we win or draw and they draw or loose

WE ARE CHAMPIONS!!!! Ok, so Chelsea hasn't played yet but come on! They'll either drop points against Arsenal tonight or against us on Wed. So I say start the engraving and put ManU's name on that trophy baby!

Man Utd could be in trouble along with Everton. Everton said that their Goalkeeper Tim Howard was omitted from playing against Man Utd due to an agreement they made when they signed him from Manchester. This is actually an illegal move and if anything like that was written into the agreement it means interference by a third party. West Ham were just fined £5.5 million for having players owned by a third party and were lucky to avoid point docking.

Wasn't Howard disallowed to play because he was on loan to Everton from United? I know they made the move permanent but the move will only be in affect at the end of the season so technically he's still on loan to Everton.
That was what I heard after the Everton game - the presenter was explaining Howard's deal. Unless new information has surfaced since then.

Everton were actually free to play Tim Howard as that agreement as part of the load deal had ended before they faced each other. However, the Premier League has put both clubs in the clear saying that Everton could have played him if they wished just that it was their own choice not to use him. Yeah right. Lets put a rookie keeper in that practically costs us the game rather than our experienced keeper who has been great all season

It was Everton's choice, its not United's fault they didn't realise they could play him! Why didn't they say something after the match? they've had all week yet they choose to say something right after we win the premiership!

I don't wanna spam so I will talk about football, most of the players are very cute and play well. I am trying to dominate the general thread but this is in my way.

I wish Man Utd had not yet won the title, i wanted some sparks to fly in the Chelsea/Man Utd game. I'm sure Man Utd fans will deeply enjoy the guard of honour that the Chelsea players will give the Man Utd players

Well, I will definitely enjoy it. ;D Yeah, I have a feeling Sir Alex is going to take it easy for the Chelsea match and rest most of his starting 11. I would be surprise to see a strong team out. Now that the title is won, all their attention would be on the FA Cup. I would love it if Manu beats Chelsea tonight - just for the fun of it.

nah I want a decent match! we shouldn't let them win just because we want to conserve energy for the FA Cup. plus how much more humiliating for Chelsea will it be if they get thrashed

Last match of the season. I hope we end on a high today. It would be a bummer if we lost just before we are presented with the trophy. Oh well. We are still CHAMPIONS!!!

Congrats you guys Can someone explain to me how the hell your competition works??

It's a point system. You win, you get 3 points. You draw, you get 1 and if you lose, you don't get any. So throughout the season you're playing against 19 teams (home and away). The more points you get through these games, the higher you stand on the table. The team on top of the table (who has the most points) at the end of the season, wins the league. That's all.

Not in this league, no. There are finals (semi-final, quarter-finals, etc) for the other Cups, like the Champions League - where teams all over Europe compete against each other - and the FA Cup
