So FA Cup final tonight! Who do you guys think will win? Of course I'm supporting my boys and I feel they can win this match. It's going to be a tight affair though as it can go either way. But after winning the league, Manu has the upperhand, especially in confidence. 2-1 to Manu with Roony scoring the winner.

Never mind Manchester fans. You didn't win the double. I thought it was inevitable that Chelsea would squeeze the win. A trophyless season and Chelsea dont go together. Fantastic goal to win it. Shame Ronaldo didn't show up for the big game. AC Milan anyone . Thats why my player of the year would have gone to Didier Drogba. 33 goals in a season and consistently raises his game for the big games. Just the Champions league and Championship Playoff left to hold my interest for this season. Come on Liverpool and Derby. I do not want all the relegated teams to come straight back up. Plus i have fond memories of Derby from the last time they were in the Premiership.

It was a disappointing display from us. Things would have been a lot different if our goal was allowed. Oh well. At least we aren't trophy-less this season. I hope Derby come up next season. It's been a long time since they played in the Premiereship and it would be a nice change to see them back up again. It's no fun to see relegated teams come straight back up. We need 'new' teams in the Premiereship. Looking forward to the Champions League final now.

It was never a goal though really. Giggs slid the goalkeeper over the line so would have been a foul.
Champions League final will be awesome.

So Champions League final tonight. Who are you guys rooting for? I'm not really rooting for anyone. Just hoping for a entertaining final. But I hope Liverpool doesn't win as I made a bet with my friend that if the Reds win, I have to wear their jersey and get a picture taken. So I hope Milan wins.

Its difficult because I wouldn't mind Liverpool winning because they are English but if Millan win I can take some comfort in the fact that Man U were beaten by the eventual winners, so I'm just hopeing for a really good match

I would feel the same way too, Tash! It would be a tight game but I can see Liverpool coming out of this one as winners. I just hope we don't go into extra time or penalties.

Liverpool played well they we're very unlucky with the first goal and lost momentum in the second half. The second Millan goal was class though, you have to given them that.
Atleast Man U fans can take comfort in that they we're beaten by the eventual champions

I thought Liverpool was the better side. Milan was lucky to get the first goal and that just threw Liverpool off. I'm glad Liverpool got a goal, which they deserved.
*sigh*
Now, no football till Aug. It's going to be a long wait...

Major League Soccor is still going in America I think, we could always watch that if we were desperate enough

Sadly, I don't get MLS though. I just have to survive on the repeats - cause I definitely don't mind watching United rip Roma up again - and the occassional international footbal. Meh

I watched the final too (well, a part of it). In all honesty, I think Liverpool deserved more. The first goal was kind of lucky, in my opinion. And now all A.C. Milan supporters will make fun of us Juventus supporters until next year begins, because they won 7 Champions League Cups and we only got 2...

Time to revive again, the premiership starts in less than 2 weeks and there's plenty to talk about.
So what do we make of the big transfers?

Tash, I was just thinking of reviving this thread. I'm pretty excited about the tranfers ManU has made. I'm really keen to see Nani and Hargreaves play. I've been a fan of Hargreaves since the '06 World Cup and have been wishing that ManU would get their hands on him. He will definitely give a huge boost to defence and midfield with him around. I've heard a lot of good things about Nani but I've never seen him play. I'm excited on how he would work and link up with Rooney and Ronaldo up front. I hope that we would pose a strong challenge in Europe this season. We were so close the last time. As for the other transfers... I think the biggest lost would be Henry. I really think Arsenal will suffer without him. Liverpool and Torres....hmm. I'm wary of Liverpool's threat now that they have Torres. But I'm hoping he would add up like Mr. Big Flop from Chelsea last season.

well doesn't look like Torres is gonna be a flop after his performance on Saturday! I can't believe how badly united played on Sunday, we'd better perform tomorrow Portsmouth can be a tricky club to beat

Rooney is out for two months. Not good news for Manchester United eh?
Newcastle played excellent, im thinking we will have a great season this year with Allardyce. He will get the defence sorted and we have brilliant attackers.
