Ep 11. OMG!! What an episode. This is the Joss we all know and love. Loved every minute of it. I can't wait to see how it ends. I knew Keppler (was that his name) was Alpha since I spoilt myself but that reveal was still shocking. My poor Victor!
Surprised that Caroline knows Alpha. Or was that even Caroline. I wasn't sure whether Alpha imprinted Echo with Caroline or someone else that he knows. Would be interesting to see how this plays out.
And I like how the story or Briar Rose was about Alpha and not about Ballard. Very smart. Yeah, this episode was definitely interesting. I knew that Keppler (I guess Alpha took over Keppler's identity when he killed him) was Alpha, but only because I knew Alan Tudyk played Alpha. I was very surprised at how quickly he changed from Keppler to Alpha. I wasn't expecting it to be a 180 like that.
I'm very worried about what's going to happen to Ballard. I like him!
Echo may have known Alpha briefly when she first came to the Dollhouse. (I guess it's also possible that Caroline knew Alpha's "real life identity" and recognized his face, although he's not seen in any of the flashbacks so I'm not holding too strongly to that theory.) I'm not sure if what Alpha imprinted was a mix of Caroline and Echo or still Echo, just with some extra bits that Alpha wanted. It could also be that there's some bit of their past, like a job they did together, that he imprinted back into her memory.
I think the Briar Rose story was about both guys. We'll just have to wait to see which one's really the prince.

I have a feeling that DeWitt will ask Ballard to join the Dollhouse. I don't know why I think that but when they caught him, she didn't seem like she wanted to kill him. She could have other plans for me. Maybe help her and Boyd get Echo and get rid of Alpha.

Yeah, I expect he'll hear an offer from DeWitt. Although his help with the current situation could also be valuable. I guess it will depend on who, if anyone, is on Ballard's side.

The finale was pretty darn good and I would say went out with a bang. Best Line of the series-- "We put 'em in a jar with our fireflies." Only a firefly fan would get that teehee I certainly thought Caroline was going to be 'freed' at the end by Ballard in return for his participation and help in the Dollhouse company but of course it made perfect sense it was in fact Madelin. My heart sunk when I saw Caroline/Echo going back into her little pod but I am excited that she now apparently knows who she is, and I loved the scenes between Echo & Caroline. I also thought it was a nice scene between Echo & Topher. Something about the doctor (who we now know as Whiskey) really annoys me. but we saw how she got her scars I always wondered about that "Let Echo be the best" good line for that scene. I wish the ending was a bit more of a punch in the face rather than a tickle on the chin but I am looking forward to season 2!.

I'm so excited about that ;D
And there's a thirteenth episode in the first season, it just won't be aired. It'll be on the DVD.

Apparently FOX is interested in having a spinoff-like series based on the 13th episode. It's not confirmed or anything but there are rumours around that if Dollhouse doesn't work out, they want Joss to go ahead with this 'spinoff'.

Anyone here getting the DVD? There's a unaired ep in the DVD which I'm really interested in watching. Saw a couple of sneaks of it and it looks really good. But I'm not sure whether I'll get the DVD though.

Alexis Densiof and Summer Glau will be in season 2! I expected SG to join DH after the cancellation of TSCC but AD? YAY!! ;D Now, I wonder if Nathan Fillion or James Marsters will be next.

Oooh yay! I was just re-watching Serenity special features and Summer Glau was talking about how she hopes to work with Joss a million times more in the future, and here she goes!
Nathan Fillion still has Castle right? I don't know if it was picked up again or not. But I would love to see him with Joss again.

Yeah, I think Castle has been picked up. But he could always do a guest spot. ;D

Fillion tends to get around I would certainly not rule him out of a guest episode!.
My brother will enjoy watching Summer Glau on screen again, I wonder if she will play a doll, I have only seen her in Firefly/Serenity and Terminator SCC and she played the same sort of character!.

I hope she doesn't play a doll though. It would be too much of the same character as TSCC. Something opposite would be nice. Maybe a handler?

Agreed. I would like to see her play something a little different, she can definitely play a different role and still pull of the witty humour like always.
Wonder who Denisof will play, would be interesting to have Summer as a handler and Denisof as a doll, since it would be like a role reversal.
Any idea how much of season 2 they will be in?

I think Denisof is doing a guest spot while Glau is recurring? I must double check that.

I've been trying to watch this on tv over here but haven't always caught it. I was definatly enjoying it though especially after about ep 5 and you could really see that it was a Joss show.
I can't wait for it to come out on dvd so that I can watch it properly

Some spoilers on who Glau and AD will be playing. Joss Whedon has said he would not cast Glau as a Doll, due to her playing similar roles of that sort in the past – and indeed, he's gone the opposite route. Rather than playing a Doll, Glau is playing one of the people who makes the Dolls what they are. Yes, Glau's character, Bennett, is the equivalent of Topher - a Programmer. Bennett works in a Dollhouse that is new to the series, located in Washington, DC.
Bennett comes into play as Alexis Denisof's new character Daniel Perrin (briefly introduced in the season premiere) has his role and storyline elevated. Perrin is a US senator, so it seems a trip to Washington, DC is likely in store for the Dollhouse crew.

I just want to see the show start back!, AD and Glau are just an awesome Bonus!.
Awesome that Whedon decided not to make Summer a doll and I bet she loves it also.

Yeah, I read somewhere where she said that she hopes Joss doesn't cast her as a doll. Would be interesting to see a Topher interaction with her character. I wonder whether they will butt heads over tech stuff.
