Oh ahah I didn't even notice she was topless at first. Good cover though.

I love that cover. Probably my favourite Jo Chen one yet.

Man, the covers keep getting better and better!
I thought the naked Faith cover is for the No Future For You issue. Is the Buffy/Faith one a different cover or is that for something else?

The variant cover for #9 has been released. Since I'm at work I can't do any resizing on it to post (it's a tad big), but will update with it from home tonight. #9 variant. I have to say I love the Avengers vibe with this cover. Probably my favourite variant so far. EDIT - The cover is now included below in a decent viewing size

Here's another variant for #1 (and presumably quite rare), that I hadn't seen before. It looks kind of interesting.

Jo Chen's cover for #10. I haven't managed to find Georges Jeanty's variant yet.

Here's another variant for #1 (and presumably quite rare), that I hadn't seen before. It looks kind of interesting. I'm unsure to if that is a real cover because of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer text. I would think if it was a real Buffy Season 8 cover it would have the real logo on it and not just some text. I like the effect of Buffy but i just don't think its a real cover. I really love the Buffy and Willow cover. Willow looks really at peace and Buffy looks like shes worried about something more then falling or flying. There lots of emotion in this cover.

The characters are spot on in that cover. Buffy looks exactly like SMG. But I'm not sure I like the flying Willow thing (assuming she's flying and not falling). I don't want them to make BtVS more fantasy than the TV show was.

Yeah that is my only issue with that cover. But we have already seen Willow hovering about in the comic so i wouldn't put it past them to use Willow as a flying transportation device for Buffy Which i dislike in many ways.

I wasn't taking the cover image literally. Given that it's a standalone Joss story, I'm guessing the issue will be something similar to #5, which does something differently, rather than a straightforward story. From the solicitation text for the issue:To me, it seems like the cover will be reflective of some kind of dreamscape, or something. As for it being more fantasy than the TV series, Joss has said in various interviews that while he does want to keep the style close to the TV show, comics aren't constrained by budget, so things will be a little "bigger". With all that in mind, though, if Willow is Buffy's flying device, it would kind of suck. I'm unsure to if that is a real cover because of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer text. I would think if it was a real Buffy Season 8 cover it would have the real logo on it and not just some text. I like the effect of Buffy but i just don't think its a real cover. The logo does look a little off, and I was thinking the same thing. That said, the font is the same, and the "regular" Buffy logo wouldn't fit with the cover's layout. So, I'm not really sure...

RE Issue 10 cover:
I like how much Buffy looks like SMG in that cover. The expression is spot on.

I think it looks cool, but agree with everything said. I hope Willow can't actually fly
