Yeah, Bob plays quite a bit into episode 4. I'll leave it to Marie as to whether she wants to say anything more about it.

I can't wait till' 4! Is it about Bob? I hope so, I must know more about Bob... Also, finally, a series with Clem! Yep, all about Bob and the past he's been hiding. I'll be sending Act II to Allan tonight and will be starting on Act III Monday (due to a busy weekend...maybe earlier, though), so hopefully it'll be out for you to read soon. Sorry to keep everyone waiting.

Well, since Marie's writing this episode, it depends on her schedule. Last I heard, she was up to the las act. Hopefully you won't be saying but it's too late, it's too late, no don't you know, it's been too late, for a long time

I'm sorry, Paul. I am on the last act, like Allan said. The doctor has severely limited how much I can use my right hand, though, while we figure out what's wrong with it, which has drastically cut down my computer time. If you'd like, I can send what I have to Allan and he can finish it, which will probably ensure a quicker release.

Oh, don't worry. I'm by no means offended, nor did I feel you were pushy. I know it's taken quite a while to get this one out and I've been feeling terrible about it. I've written quite a bit today, so hopefully, if I can write that much every day, it won't be much longer.
If it ever becomes too much of a wait for you, just let me know and Allan can finish it up. But, like I said, hopefully just a few more days and I'll be able to send this last act to Allan for proofing.

Excellent, Marie! Looking forward to reading it. I've been meaning to take this time to get some latter episodes started while you've been working on your one, but haven't myself... Paul (and anyone else), I'll give a brief tease with upcoming episode titles. 1.04 - "Past Mistakes" 1.05 - "Happily...Ever After" 1.06 - "Afterlife"Take those to mean what you want, and conjecture is always welcome! And I'm in no rush, either, whever Marie's up to it. I wouldn't mind passing Marie a second episode, if she's game (I may pass it to her a little earlier, though! )

Whoo! I finally have some word on when episode 4 will be released! I'm going out of town for the next few days and won't have my computer with me to finish typing up the third act. I do have all my ideas written down in a notebook that I am taking with me so as I think "oh, that shouldn't be in there" or "I like that better" I can mark that in. When I return I'll be typing it up. My wrist/hand will have had a nice break during my trip, since I won't have my computer, and I really don't have much more to write and have it all very clearly laid out, so I don't imagine it taking too long to finish typing up. Given the holiday this weekend and my short vacation, I can't promise getting it to Allan before Monday, but I will send it to him for a read through no later than Monday. After that, it's simply a matter of making any final changes that we feel appropriate and posting it. So, you will have it by the end of next week. Yay! I know our faithful readers, and especially Paul, have been anxious for the next installment. I am rather frustrated with myself for spending so long on this. In large part it is because of my wrist, which everyone has been very understanding about, but I still feel as though I've fallen short. All I can do is send a HUGE thank you to everyone for their understanding and patience and hope that the episode stands up to the wait you had to go through to get it. I'm more than willing to write another episode in the future if you like this one, but it will be quite a ways into the future to ensure time for doctors' visits and the such with my wrist and allow the series to find the groove Allan wants for it. So, just a little longer.

Thanks for the update, Marie.
And I'll say it again, with your wrist, the Dominion script really isn't a priority. I do appreciate all the work you've put in, though.
I've got to admit that with this delay, I've been a little slack with getting to work on episode 5 (I was hoping to do a little bit of stockpiling, which isn't gonna happen). Hopefully I'll get to start it over the Easter break, though writing the KAX radio play will take precedence.

Allan should be posting it as soon as he gets a chance. Thanks to all our readers (and Allan) for their patience!

I'm just about to go and post it now (though it will take a little while with the Word formatting, as always. It's a great read IMO, and would really like to thank Marie for all her hard work with it. EDIT - The episode has been posted.

i really enjoyed episode 4 marie, a great read, bob is definatly my favorite character and i can tell by the way you wrote the episode that you quiet like him too, great to get a taste of his past and to find out what makes him tick, no critisism from me, it was well worth the wait, hope you do a few more eps in the future

I hope Marie writes more episodes, too! Not only will it give me another break, but I really liked "Past Mistakes", too. As for Bob, I have a Bob-centric episode planned for episode 14 (though it could possibly shift a little, depending on how the season plays out), as well as some hopefully cool moments throughout the season. Also, in an attempt to get the series better, could I possibly grab some opinions on what's worked, what hasn't, etc, with various episodes? Btw, I'm about half way through Act 1 of episode 5 at the moment.

I'm glad you both like it. I'm certainly interested in writing future episodes. I'm going to take a short break and go back to editing some of Allan's episodes while I try to reorganize my life a bit. But once a few more episodes are put out there I'd certainly take a stab at writing another one. Yes, Paul, Bob is one of my favorite characters and I loved writing this episode around him.

I've read the pilot and I've gotta say, I really, really like the concept of the show. It's original, since it's never been done before, and I think that's great. The way the characters were introduced was nice. Normally I would object to telling us the names of the characters without someone saying it, having it on a nametag if they're working, etc. but seeing as you had so many new characters, just telling us their names was a good idea. I'm really interested in the whole thing with the other Slayers, seeing as they have vampires working for them (um, weird! Not on your part but on theirs ) and I'm curious to see who/what this "Daimyo" is. I really like how you've incorporated Clem into it, and I like the Dominion Bar; it's not sugar-coated at all. The bar is what it is, and I like it. Nothing really negative to say. I've started the next episode, and I'll (maybe) feedback that one as well.

What do you mean you'll "maybe" feedback that one? A Daimyo is a Japanese lord, or ruler from Feudal times. There's a little more development on the character in 1.04 (thanks, Marie!), and will feature heavily in episodes 8 and 9. I'm glad you like Clem being involved. I wanted it set sqaurely in the Jossverse, but I didn't want to rely too heavily on the "big" characters (that said, Illyria's a little "bigger"). One thing I would be interested in is people's opinions of Clem, since he's someone we'd only ever seen in smaller doses. As for the Dominion Bar, I really like the idea of a place where demons can spend their time. Being a bar, it works as a location where basically anyone could show up, no matter how shady they are. With the series being called "Dominion", expect it to feature fairly prominently.

Well, I hadn't intended to develop the character more--but it must have worked, I guess! Glad you liked the pilot, Amber.

Well, I did say a "little more", Marie. And he does appear, albeit briefly.
