Everyone is very obsessed with the beard!! Helen O'Hara (Empire chick) spent a good five minutes on it. She was "undone" was the word I believe

So was I. So was I. I keep forgetting that there's another Avengers movie after this one. When news came out about it being the last, I thought they were referring to this one.

I think the second Antman and Captain Marvel are the only two coming out between Avengers 3 and 4 aren't they?

Black Panther is out next year as well.

Yeah, but Black Panther is before Infinity War (February). Have to set up Wakanda and all the people there. The death toll is going to be big in 3 and 4, and I’m not prepared

Nah it is before Infinity War. Pretty sure the two I mentioned are the only 2 between the big ones.

Wakanda features heavily in Infinity War apparently. Like I said, they have to set the location and all the characters up properly, and the bit at the end of Civil War won't cut it. I'm looking forward to it

So before Infinity War i'm doing a complete rewatch (if i can fit them in 15 days!!). This is the order I have settled on, I think its the closest to an accurate timeline.....
Captain America: The First Avenger Iron Man Iron Man 2 Incredible Hulk Thor The Avengers Iron Man 3 Thor: The Dark World Captain America: The Winter Soldier Guardians of the Galaxy Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 Avengers: Age of Ultron Ant-Man Captain America: Civil War Black Panther Spider-Man: Homecoming Doctor Strange Thor: Ragnarok
I struggled with Doctor Strange, really not sure where is belongs without reference to other events or people!

Liz! Since 2012, you've only watched 5 from that list?! So before Infinity War i'm doing a complete rewatch (if i can fit them in 15 days!!). Captain America: The First Avenger Iron Man Iron Man 2 Incredible Hulk Thor The Avengers Iron Man 3 Thor: The Dark World Captain America: The Winter Soldier Guardians of the Galaxy Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 Avengers: Age of Ultron Ant-Man Captain America: Civil War Black Panther Spider-Man: Homecoming Doctor Strange Thor: Ragnarok I struggled with Doctor Strange, really not sure where is belongs without reference to other events or people! Is Incredible Hulk part of the current Marvelverse? Or you just put that in for yourself? I think that's the only one I haven't properly watched.

Its officially the second film of the MCU. I've only seen it once and I didn't love it, but I want to be thorough

Oh is it? I always thought it was a standalone movie and it all started with Iron Man. Argh. I have no interest in watching it though.

James Gunn has been fired by Disney. His tweets are ridiculous and offensive for sure but it’s a bit of a weird one considering they were many years ago, he’s long deleted them, apologized many times (before now), and owns being a dickhead. It seems completely fair and also somewhat extreme somehow. Anyway, GOTG Vol 1 + 2 were great because of him and I think it’s a genuine loss to the MCU. Interesting to see who takes the reins.

Comments on Reddit seemed to suggest that Disney knew (and I would agree, surely they search through social media for stuff exactly like this) but only fired him when it was public. I'm surprised it's taken this long for them to be found, honestly.

I think they fired him for the fear of the backlash. Surely they knew about it but hired him anyways but people are just too sensitive nowadays - they got rid of him to prevent netizens from torching the place.
It was a long time ago, he has apologized and hasn't done anything like that since so I don't see the problem really. There are too much overreaction from people now.

Don’t think I’ve seen a more confident trailer. No action, very little story, barely a shot of the big purple evil.... They know they have us hook, line, sinker. The only disappointing thing is Cap doesn’t have his beard I don’t want to get older, but come on April!!

With the state of everything now, I would think he would keep the beard even more. Shame. But yes, I need it to be April already!
