The Mummy.... yeah, don't bother. Everyone is fine in it (I especially enjoyed Crowe), but it's just a bit meh. I know they are planning to build a franchise off this, but they are going to have to drastically improve the story if it's going to go anywhere.

Wonder Woman.
You can certainly tell this was not a Marvel movie. Really enjoyed it. Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman could have learned a thing or two from this movie.

New Power Rangers. Was not very good. I didn't expect it to be high quality but I did hope to enjoy it

Saw the new Power Rangers the other day. I turned it off halfway through. What crap.

Dunkirk. Its Nolan's best film by far IMO (and I love The Dark Knight - though I can't watch it because of Heath). Its stunning in every way. Realised I really have a thing for Tom Hardy too

Definitely agree about it being one of the best war movies of all time Bre As a history "buff" (who spent a LOT of time studying WWII) I was determined to not pick at it, but it wasn't necessary. There is very, very little to pick at IMO. I think what you could pull up as a bit innacurrate could be explained. For example, the yellow nose on the enemy planes didn't happen till later. But in a dogfight scene how else would you distinguish who was who?? Harry is very good Lizzie Definitely an impressive debut. I'd take Hardy over HS though. The man is just hot as hell.... and you only see his face about three times. It's that voice

I don't know! I hadn't even heard of the movie until people have been praising it on Twitter. I suck at pop culture lately.
Anyway, Paul and I are seeing it on vacation next week.

We watched a documentary on Netflix called "Citizen Koch" randomly when we were on vacation and all of a sudden my old high school librarian popped up in it and was one of the main people interviewed. My tiny home town of 1500 people was featured in this documentary. It was so weird to see. Also watched a documentary on Netflix called "Accidental Courtesy". It's such an interesting movie and super relevant to the divisiveness in the US between race relations right now.
