Legend of Tarzan. I love Alexander Skarsgard and Margot Robbie but I didn't enjoy this very much.

Manchester By the Sea. Didn't like it. Found it boring actually. And isn't Affleck's role pretty much every other role he has played? Watching Arrival next. I agree so much. tbh I'm only half-way through, but it's just SO SLOW. I guess that's the whole point blah blah blah but it's just not holding my interest. I will admit that it's very well made etc.

Logan. Fitting way to end the franchise. HJ as Logan/Wolverine will be missed.

Arrival.
Really enjoyed this one. Wasn't what I expected it to be.

Gifted.
Predictable family movie. The kid is a gem. So is Chris Evans. Nice to see a movie where he isn't punching someone. Lol.

I finally watched The Princess Bride. So many pop culture references I can now place. Good film. Cary Elwes was a babe.

Wonder Woman. Well after a long while, they have got it right. Really strong film all round. Looks great, cracks along at a decent pace, good storyline with no padding and makes total sense. Gal is fabulous and tough (and gorgeous) and she gets good support from all. Damn do I me some Chris Pine. He's perfect.

I know it's PG-13 but is there anything overly inappropriate for an almost 7 year old? We are thinking about taking the kids to the drive in and they are showing Boss baby and then wonder woman.

Well I know that is different for every parent, but I certainly didn't see anything drastic for a kid mate. Its comic violence, no blood or gore or anything. And there were heaps of kids in the session I was in and they all seemed enthralled.
