Avengers: Age of Ultron with commentary. Bloody good. Which isn't a shock considering its Joss

We watched that last night too, I forgot Bernie didn't come to the movies with us when we went. Dylan kept spoiling things

It sucks I couldn't sleep in, but it was a good way to spend a morning! The gag reel is fab. Wish there was more

But he's hot, so there's that. Yes! But there was too much focus on the old man and his story - not enough on the hot cowboy. Okay I watched it and didn't mind it It's a typical dumb Nicholas Sparks film, but I liked Scott Eastwood Recently watched: Jiro Dreams of Sushi - Lovely, and got me excited to hopefully visit Japan next year The Station Agent - Also really lovely. Quiet. The Joneses - Not bad, good idea, but could have been better. Star Trek Into Darkness[ - Didn't like this nearly as much as the first... Saved! - Solid film, I remember liking it more as a teenager though. The Book Thief - I enjoyed this! Some Kind of Wonderful - Not sure how I managed to miss the John Hughes' film. Good flick.

The Martian. What a cracker. Really, really liked it. Damon is fantastic. The rest of the cast is great also. Tight, fast paced, smart story with nice touches of humour. Nicely done Drew Goddard. Ridley Scott's best in many, many years. Highly recommend checking it out!

The Dressmaker. Great film. Winslet fabulous (and gorgeous), Weaving great, Grantley so good, Davis a scene stealer. And Liam. Oh Liam you divine creature

Kids are on a Harry Potter kick so we've been watching all of those this past week since the kids can't really play in their rumpus room atm.

Ooh I recently watched all the HPs again. So good. Just watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy this week. Seriously amazing. It's crazy how much better the LotR is visually compared to the Hobbit movies.

I love the movies. Have watched them probably at least 10 times through. But I'm currently reading/listening to the Fry audiobooks and I get a bit annoyed at all that is missed and stuffed around.

Mockingjay Part II - Yeah, having seen both, they shouldn't have split it up. Mockingjay was always a bit of a mess book wise so they had a bit to contend with already. But the pace was just way off because of the split. It was stop and start and stop and start. Gale really is useless as the third side of the "triangle". And i love LH so its not him, its the character. I hoped they would somehow end up making it credible. Nope. Jen is awesome of course, the whole cast is really good. Its the storytelling and direction that is lacking IMO. I couldn't follow what was going on when they were going through the PODS. Couldn't work out who was fighting, who was in danger. Even trying to follow their weapons was little help. I was upset when a certain someone died in the books. Felt nothing here. And then it was just.... over. Just seemed to whimper to the end. Which is a shame because i thought The Hunger Games and Catching Fire were excellent.

Watched Love, Actually last night. My favorite part was Colin Firth and his lady speaking terrible Portuguese and English. I also loved that the guy going to the US came here to good old Milwaukee, WI! Girls here do go crazy over any accent. And little, baby Rick Grimes was so cute!

Finally!! Part of the reason I wanted you to watch was Colin going to visit Wisconsin!! CF is so gorgeous in that restaurant scene. He's gorgeous all the time really....I love it all so I'm not sure my favourite part is. I think there is some exceptional stuff in there. ET breaking down in her room after not getting the necklace always gets to me. AL's signs make me smile every time. I always yell at LL to ditch her bloody brother and get some RS action! I just adore the film. Definitely my favourite in the genre.

Amy - Heartbreaking, really. What a shame. The End of the Tour - Great chemistry between Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg. Hugo - I don't know why I've missed this film before. Magical. Stuart Little - Kids watched at school. The Stanford Prison Experiment - A touch too long, but damn if Ezra Miller isn't fantastic in this. The Riot Club - Urgh, I know people similar to this. They're awful, and this movie isn't much better. The Santa Clause - A classic, obviously. Paddington - Re-watch. Love this movie! Suffragette - Saw an advance screening a few weeks back. Really excellent. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas - Insanely sad. The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 2 - I enjoyed it. Didn't need to be split, though. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl - A charming coming-of-age film. The Intern - Oh, I loved this. I want to live in a Nancy Meyers film. The Age of Adeline - Pretty, but not much substance really.

I watched Amy, too. Very sad. One of my favorite singers.
Just seeing the Suffragette trailer made me tear up. Definitely on my to-see list. Suprised it wasn't a GG nominee.
