UHG! lol. Nooo, if I hear that one more time I may freak. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but the arguments about pedophilia, disgusting birth scenes and apparently someone got audultry out of the poor book drive me bonkers. How can Edward be going around drinking the blood of hapless victims, human and animal alike, less disgusting then using his teeth to rip open the placenta. I mean I understand if Steph then went off her rocker and described something lame like "Then he though it was so good he gobbled it right up". That wasn't the case though we had two options; the baby chew it's way out which personally that may have been creepy, or Edward chew his way in. What were they supposed to do?! The baby can't just magically appear. Animals and even some human religons/lifstyles actually eat the placenta after birth. Thats gross, not using his uber sharp vampire teeth to cut through uber strong placenta. Just my opinion though.

Disappointed fans returning book. I did like the the meaning behind the cover was cool - The pawn represents Bella as a human (the weakest) and the Queen is her as a vampire (the most powerful piece).

I think Breaking Dawn's cover is the best among all the book. Looks very cool.
So has anyone else read Breaking Dawn? Beck?

I started to and in all honesty what I have read so far (and yes I've read past the pregnancy and the imprint, just past though) it is no worse than the other 3. ALL of them read like fan fiction, personally I don't see why people would like the first 3 and not the 4th. I'm still of the opinion they are all readable and enjoyable enough if you don't care enough to debate it or look into it in too much depth :dunno:

Lol, I love Cleo's recaps of New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. She says that the books are like twinkies they're good but when you eat one you clearly know why its because your craving sugar, and you know eating to many isn't good for you. Plus she has given me so many new phrases. Like when people are sick... and know about Twilight I am so going to say that they are running a temp of 100 and werewolf degrees. Also her wolves fursplode. Honestly she is just too entertaining. cleolinda.livejournal.com/630150.html?page=5

So a little while ago, the first 12 chapters of Midnight Sun were leaked. This has pissed Stephenie off, and now she doesn't want to write it!

Hmmm...well I guess that's reasonable. But it doesn't really bother me. Wasn't so interested in getting/reading it anyway. @ the icon!

On the one hand I can understand why she'd be upset - but on the other, she was giving manuscripts out to people!

You'll get it eventually. I bet that when she sees how excited people are for the movie, she'll start writing again.

She'll probably publish it when she hears people with the manuscripts deciding to sell it.

It's out on Boxing Day in NZ. My friends are really excited to watch it. They seem more into the series than I am. I heard that some chapters of Midnight Sun is out on her website. My friend read it and she couldn't not stop talking about it last night.

I just started reading Eclipse at the moment and the first part reiterate how much Edward bugged me from the beginning. And it made me realised that their relationship with each other isn't something I would envy.

ok I'll jump on the bandwagon too. So I liked Twilight. I saw it as more a sweet little love story rather than a vampire story due to there being not much violence, blood and stuff like most vampire stories have. But you girls are right, there was a bit much of the "love you love you" from Bella, and 'I love you but I'm dangerous for you and I should stay away but I just can't" from Edward.... overdramatic much. But with New Moon I shed a few tears when Edward left Bella, and called him some not very nice name. You don't put someone through all that lovey stuff then just leave. I thought he was such a jerk. But then bella was so stupid for leading Jacob on. that's just plain silly. And jacob shouldn't have been so persistant and pushy.. And it was strange how even though he's 16 he always sounded so much older And so I was very happy when Bella went to Italy, and I hope Edward does turn Bella cos then she'll ease up with the nagging
