Are you watching from season 1 again or the new season?
My aunt is in the States and I've told her to get me season 3 and 4 when she gets back. ;D

I've been watching season 5 as it's been on but i've gone back to the start. Currently watching the ep where Tim goes to visit his father.
Good aunt picking them up for you!

I had to take advantage of her trip to the U.S. Also got her to get Grey's season 6 for me. How's season 5 going?

Not bad at all. The new characters are really quite good. Especially Luke. I miss Tim There was a moment last week where some of the team were sitting out on a hotel balcony talking and coach was on his (hidden) just listening. It was just one of those FNL moments that makes you realise how awesome it is. I will miss it

Only 3 episodes to go in what i now say is my equal favourite TV show of all time Taylor Kitsch seriously just made me sob. And unfortunately i have a feeling it may get worse for my Tim Riggins.

Today's the finale. Just finished watching season 3. It's too short! Not sure how I feel about Coach T going over to East Dillon. It would feel so weird rooting for a team in red. And McCoy reminds me so much of Dan Scott. Just more psychotic.

Well i watched it. And it was, in one word, perfection [spoilers] Coach Taylor and Tami - now two of my favourite characters of all time. Really has to be one of the best marriages TV has ever seen. It always felt so real and complex. And it stayed that way till the end. Tami followed Eric for 18 years. I am so glad that he finally followed her to her dream job. And she would have kicked ass at it, because lets face it, Tami Taylor fricking rocks Julie and Matt - sweetest proposal ever. At the Alamo Freeze Saracen breaks your heart again and again and he is just wonderful. Julie, while a grating and annoying bitch sometimes, grew on me. I was glad to see them happy and engaged. Grandma Saracen broke me (as she has many times before). Her getting out her wedding dress for Julie and telling her to call her grandma was just perfect. Vince - liked that his mum got sober and stayed that way. His father is a deadbeat dickhead but at least he showed up. Luke - the army? Really? Haven't ever heard him mention that before. They ended up State Champs. Did he really not get any offers to play anywhere Anyway, liked that he and Becky made up. Becky - got her family with the Riggins and had her mum too. I couldn't stand her in season 4 but she won me over in 5. Billy and Mindy - the two bit player siblings who became awesome leads. Mindy is awesome. You could tell she didn't want to let Becky go. Billy is just the king of doofus' but i think he's great. He does love his family and he is still a coach at Dillon so will be alright. My beloved Tim Riggins - great ending. Thank the PTB. Tyra and him are left open ended which i liked. They aren't right together for now, but they could be. She has her dreams and he has his and maybe one day they will meet. He made up with Billy and "Becks", was showing little Stevie his Dillon and then at the end was building his home on his land I just adore this character. He is just gorgeously done by TK. Two great lines: Mindy telling Tim to stay away from Tyra because its gross and Tim's response - "Its not incest" Coach to little Stevie: "How are you son? Coach Eric Taylor, nice to meet ya." He is so cool [/spoiler] All in all it was brilliant. Couldn't have asked for more. Hell couldn't have asked for more over the five years. Along with The West Wing i think its the best television show in history. It sucks not enough people appreciated it or understood it. And it really sucks that its over. TEXAS FOREVER.

I shouldn't have read your spoilers, Loz, but I did! It sounds like it ended great. It makes me so sad now. Starting on season 4 today.

It was really sad. Perfect. But just so shit it's over. The music started and I managed to hold it together (just). But once Grandma Saracen worked her magic, as she so often has done, I was hopeless

So I'm only 3 episodes into season 4 and I'm loving the show all over again! You're right, Loz. I hate the Panthers now.

Yeah, since when did JD become such a jerk?! He's becoming just like his father! I'm not sure how I feel about Luke at the moment. But I must say that he's little breakdown in front of Tami when he was told he had to change schools made me feel so sorry for him.

I like Luke. He's sweet. Didn't take me long to like the new crew. Doesn't happen often in a TV series.

Saw the ep where Matt's father died and of course I bawled my eyes out! Matt just broke my heart. And it didn't help that he left in the next ep. So glad that a Becky and Tim hookup didn't happen! I like their friendship as it is. Plus, it would be weird. He's more like a big brother to her than anything else. Btw, was the series finale a 2 hour one or just the usual one hour episode?

You know what got me there? When Matt was looking at the body and it was all in his face. And then my beloved Tim Riggins just whispered very quietly, "Seven". Great moment.
The finale went for about an hour. Then there were some interviews with the cast after.

Coach Taylor: Tm Riggins is gonna be a father?!? Best. Line. Ever. The horror in Coach's voice just cracked me up! But I thought the whole pregnancy thing was a bit sudden. Before, Luke and Becky weren't even that close, they were hardly dating - so it was a bit odd that we find they were sleeping together in this episode. Another thing was Tami's situation after. Why didn't the board ask Becky what happened? :-\

They weren't dating, or "sleeping together". The first and only time they ever had sex was the night they took off together. And the horror was totally uncalled for! Tim Riggins would be a great father

Just started on season 5. Julie really has a thing for teachers doesn't she? I just realised without Matt around, she isn't a very enjoyable character.

Agreed!! But she has never been my favourite character. Actually she is probably my least favourite of the leads
