Oh I kinda meant as actors, not necessarily romantic chemistry.
Man, Matt's dad is a total shit, isn't he? Buddy is growing on me, so is Lyla.

I meant as actors too. TK and AP are apparently good mates and that comes across on screen. I think the relationship between TK and MK is a little more complicated.

Ooooh Smash has been caught! Quite a dilemma for Coach Taylor.

The final showing of the finale will on NBC tonight. Then it means it's truly over. So this on Yahoo! in preparation for the finale: 1. An early prospect to play Coach Taylor: Dwight Yoakam. 2. For his initial meeting with showrunner Peter Berg — who was already dubious about casting him as Coach Eric Taylor — Kyle Chandler came straight from a weekend bender, visibly hung over...and thus clinched the role. 3. Before her audition, Minka Kelly (who played Lyla Garrity) was working as a scrub nurse in a plastic surgeon's office. 4. The show shot in real houses — not custom-built sets — in the Austin, Texas area, placing the performers at risk when it turned out that the house used for the Riggins home had mold, and that the pool was (according to Taylor Kitsch, who played Tim Riggins) "filled with sludge." Adrianne Palicki (Tyra Collette) also reported getting bug bites from the sofa. 5. Gaius Charles (Smash Williams) is, by his own admission, a terrible football player (while Kitsch's previous athletic experience was on the hockey rink, not the football field). 6. Berg admits that the show will be remembered more for its portrayal of the Taylors' marriage than for its football scenes. 7. Who put then-NBC Entertainment President Ben Silverman together with then-DirecTV Executive Vice-President of Entertainment Eric Shanks and essentially brokered the deal that saved the show for its last three seasons? Tom Arnold. Yes, Roseanne Barr's ex-husband. Source

Wasn't there already an FNL movie? Why would they make another? Jeez. I haven't finished the last season yet, so I'm not sure what to think of the ending, but I generally am not a fan of TV show movies either.

Started as a movie yeah (a lot different to the show though). I see no need for it. It ended perfectly But i said the same thing about Sex and the City and i thought the first film was really excellent. I've lost count of how many times i've watched it.

Friday Night Lights Boss Confirms Feature Film Buzz: 'We're Writing the Script Now'
Friday Night Lights exec producer Peter Berg is confirming what TVLine told you last month: He wants to bring the franchise back to the big screen, with Emmy nominees Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton reprising their roles as Coach and Tami Taylor.
“We’re writing a script,” he told reporters at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour following a panel for his NBC reboot of Prime Suspect. “We’ve been meeting with [fellow FNL EP] Jason Katims for the last couple of weeks. We have a real good script idea. We want to do it. We’re very serious about doing it. We intend to do it.”
Berg added that the “goal would be to focus the film around Kyle and Connie and bring [in] some new characters and then bring in some of our familiar faces. We have, I think, a really fresh, very original take on it. We’re very serious about wanting to do it… If all goes well, we would shoot it next year at some point.”I would love more FNL but as another season not as a movie. But I will still watch it of course.

My sister is watching FNL for the first time, and so I'm kind of re-watching it. It's sooo good! It's funny hearing my sister swoon over all the guys, too. She just said "I want to marry Tim Riggins!", but Coach Taylor is her fav. Anyway, she also bought season 5, so I'll finally get to finish watching all the episodes.

Is that even possible?! What's her reason for it? I still have yet to get season 5.

She said he is shabby and greasy looking! I said that is god like Tim Riggins man sweat, that he is hot perfection and she should be ashamed of herself for saying such ridiculous things. She apologised. Not very sincerely though!

I've seen the first 8 episodes and I am still struggling to get into it. I don't like Tim or Lyla, and I don't like them together. Loz assured me that would change in the second and third season but I will see how I go on the rest of the first season before I decide whether to watch the rest. Re Tim's looks I don't think he is greasy or shabby but I don't like his character at all so far.

I finally finished the series. I gotta say (I'll put in in spoiler tags since Beck is watching) I seriously didn't know if Eric was going to be a dick and make Tami turn down her job offer. He was disappointing me the last couple of episodes because of that, but I'm glad it ended the way it did. I loved seeing Landry and Tyra come back. BUT I'm not a huge fan of Matt and Julie getting engaged. I'm kind of with Coach Taylor on that. They're way too young. Not sure what they're planning for the so-called movie they're making. Don't understand why or how they're doing it.
