Children of Men blew me away. I'm looking forward to getting hold of it on DVD.
I'm waiting for Little Miss Sunshine to hit DVD here so I can finally see it!

Children of Men blew me away. I'm looking forward to getting hold of it on DVD. I'm waiting for Little Miss Sunshine to hit DVD here so I can finally see it! Oh the DVD will be great. I am still blown away, and I want to know more though I really hope no second movie is made... The commentary is really what I want to hear. Yeah, get Little Miss Sunshine, alot of people think it'll be about a litte girl and a beauty pagent, but it really is so much more. You will like it.

Is the Children of Men DVD coming with a commentary? I thought it was going to be fairly bare bones. I really need to read the book - there seemed to be some stuff in the movie which went fairly unexplained, and I want to see if it's by design, and the book should add some insight.
And re Little Miss Sunshine, that's what I've heard from everyone. It definitely sounds like something I'd love.

It's an awesome movie with great casting, story and humor. I watched it twice and I never watch movies twice. This is the first movie that I watched twice in the cinema. It was that good! I wanted to watch Rent but I'm not a really a fan of musicals so I gave that a pass.

I recommend "Armageddon" to anyone that hasn't seen it. That movie is absolutely awesome.

Recommend Bobby. It's a fictional account of the lives of several people present during the final hours in the life of the late Senator Robert F. Kennedy, who was a presidential candidate.
Stars Anthony Hopkins, Elijah Wood, Demi Moore, Lindsay Lohan, Emilio Estevez, Sharon Stone, William H. Macy, Christian Slater, Laurence Fishburne, Heather Graham, Helen Hunt, Martin Sheen, Joshua Jackson and Ashton Kutcher. I liked it a lot. It's clever the way they use old footage.

I recommend Alpha Dog, although I know many people here wouldn't like it due to it's gritty and violent nature, but it's a really interesting movie

I saw the trailer for it and I'm not interested in it because of it's violent nature. Not a fan of this kind of movie. I think it comes out in Aug for me. I recommend Hot Fuzz. Hilarious movie! Probably one of the best comdies out there this year. Master Beck is violent in nature, especially towards me.

I'll second Hot Fuzz there. It's hilarious if you can stomach a bit of labguage and some of the top comedic violence.

Yeah, it has Justin Timberlake in it, it's actually not all that violent, but there's loads of swearing, and pretty much every character is a immoral asshole

Hey! Watch it! Do not dis JT. I change my staff recommendation at work from Firefly (which has been up there forever) to Fight Club. I'm so glad I watched that.

I don't mind a bit of Timberlake I recommend Ocean's Thirteen. I thought it was almost as good as Eleven (which is one of my all time favourite movies) ;D Some great in-jokes and pretty amusing all round. Clooney, Pitt and Damon are all great - especially Damon i thought. Pachino is good as always. Barkin has had one scary boob job though i have to say

I didn't like the movie at all. It was so flat in my opinion.

I didn't find it flat at all. I thought everyone looked like they were having a ball. The scheme was a good one too. And i thought ditching the women was a great idea.

I'm going to have to catch it some point, so I'll make the final decision to its' quality. I do agree with Loz on 11, though - that rocks.
