Can't watch the clip. I'm no doubt going to see the movie, though I would expect it to be terrible on account of Michael Bay directing it.

Really? I don't know him, what else has he done? The trailers I've seen look like its going to be the baddies come to destroy earth and the goodies come to defend us. I must see it

Armageddon, Pearl Harbour, The Island... Oh, admittedly I did kind of enjoy the Bad Boys movies.
Ofcourse, I would like Glenn to cuddle up next to me at the movie.

Thankfully, I missed the boat on Power Rangers. What I would love to see is a big budget Voltron movie. "And I'll form the head!"
Hopefully, the Transformers movie will be like Paul, as it's incredibly super awesome, and really really cool... But I have a sinking feeling that it will just be bad.

I think Tash meant a $200million mega blocklbuster Power Rangers movie, featuring the hottest cast like Brad Pitt, Jack Black, Vin Diesel and Kirsten Dunst. I had to reread Ryley's post before it clicked that he meant the trailer. That said, the second time I read the post it was clear to me, because Ryley is amazing in how clearly he illusrates his point.

yeh I was meaning a big budget power rangers and an attempt to make it less corny. Of course Tommy Oliver would have to be in it, he's been in like 10 series

They seem to be doing that a lot nowadays - making movies bases on comics, toys, etc. The trailer looks really cool but I hope it doesn't mislead us. Most of the stuff shown in the trailer are the robots and the awesome special effects. Not much of the plot is revealed. For all we know, it could be another Hulk.

I saw the trailer when I saw "PotC". I didn't think it would look good, but it looks awesome. Plus Shia Labeuf (sp?)

Tranformers rocked and i will definitely be seeing the film. With Bay (whose movies i tend to enjoy for what they are, especially Bad Boys, Armageddon and The Rock ) and Spielberg involved i'm expecting it will do the TV show justice
