Yeah it seemed to have gone by fast. Makes me wonder if they put enough time into it. Hopefully it will be as good as the first one.

The first one came out last year and usually sequels comes out after 2 years or so. But it does seem fast though.
However, seeing how successful the first one was, I'm not surprise that they are pushing to release the second one soon to bank on the first one's success.

Pushing sequels forward to two years in between doesn't seem to work in most instances, though three years seems to give them enough time a lot of the time. But I guess it also comes down to how much prep work has been done on the sequel, and how quickly they got to it.
I do know that Jon Favreau was complaining about Iron Man 2 being announced for two years after the first movie, saying that it wasn't enough time, especially since he wasn't consulted by the studio beforehand.
Hopefully it'll be enough time for the movie to live up to the original.
