I think it was the second/third best ep of the season. I liked the idea of the nightmares coming true as well. The clown scared the crap out of me, especially since it was giggling. I also liked how the episode had a "who-dunnit?" feel to it. Giles getting lost in the stacks was hilarious, too. Rating: 8/10

I also enjoyed "Nightmares." It was interesting to see everyone's fears, and especially to see Buffy as a vampire. The clown part does scare me too (especially the laugh!) and when Buffy talks to her dad, that part is also sad. However, overall, the episode was interesting and entertaining to watch.
Rating= 7/8 out of 10

Giles' fears were funny Except the one about Buffy dying, that was sad and showed already to me that he cared about her a lot. Made me want to huggles him. And yay Xander hitting the clown! My rate is a 9/10

I thought it was an excellent episode, but not my very favourite. 8/10
The clown was great, and it was a creepy way to get inside everybody's head.

Giles lost in the Stacks and unable to Read, when buffy walked in and he came out from the stacks he looked so lost . I was also laughing at Xander eating Chocolate Bars he found lying in a trail on the ground without questioning it!

I was also laughing at Xander eating Chocolate Bars he found lying in a trail on the ground without questioning it! LOL, I completely forgot about that until you mentioned it! It was a perfect Xander moment, IMO.

Out of Mind, Out of SightOne of my least favourites of the season. It was just weak in so many ways. Plot didn't interest me, though the idea of an invisible girl was pretty cool. But Marcie wasn't a sympathetic character, so even though she had been ignored I was pretty much thinking "boo-hoo" about it Harmony falling down the stairs amused me though Soooooo... a 5/10 from me.

I didn't mind it. I love the concept of invisible people being trained to be assassins, and thought the final scene was quite eery.
Season 1 suffered from some truly crap standalone episodes, and I thought that the episode bucked the trend somewhat. It was better than quite a few of them.
I didn't particularly like Marcy, anf thought that there was probably a very good reason for her being ignored. Whenever I rewatch the episode, I'm amused to see a young Clea DuVall in the role, and she did it quite decently.
The episode is a "nothing" type, but it does what it does quite well. I'd give it 6.5/10.

I agree Marcie wasnt a character you could feel sorry for, She was Vicious and Vindictive, I liked the Storyline, but I wish they would have tugged on my heart strings a little,
4/10

I don't know if it's my least favorite, but it's certainly not near the top of the list. I liked the idea of an invisible girl (I've always enjoyed it when they branch away from the vampire/demon aspect as the bad guy or supernatural phenomena for the episode). I thought the storyline was fine. I agree, though, that she wasn't a sympathetic character. I feel for the character, because I know what it's like to go through school ignored, but I didn't feel for her in a way that was "Oh, it's going to be okay." It was more like, "Yeah, I hear ya, but get over it." There were certainly some good parts...and I liked that Xander and Willow didn't remember who she was, either. I like it when they show little flaws like that in the characters (although I can't say I remember everyone I went to school with, either, so I don't know if that could be considered a "flaw" so much as a fact of life). I thought the ending, with her being taken by the government for treatment and then the final scene showing her at that "school," was very interesting and I was disappointed that they didn't follow that up with at least a reference of what had happened to her or something.
So...5.5/10 for me, I think.

I enjoyed "Out of Mind, Out of Sight," but it definitely wasn't my favorite of the season. Marcy was...well, it was sad that she had been ignored so much, but she was in a big high school. You think she could have found some friends. However, she did become very wrathful because of it, and I just wanted her out . I liked the end, though. It was a pretty interesting twist to see so many invisable people in a classroom learning how to be an assassin. I'd give it a 7/10.

Its hard to see it as anyones fault except Marcie's. If you are superficial enough to want to be part of that crowd then i have no sympathy. Do you think if she approached Willow in friendship she would have been ignored? I doubt it.

Yes though she obviously wasnt that popular anyway, Willow and Xander couldnt remember her and they had classes with her, I rememberd everyone I had classes with (not now though ) ,

An okay episode. Quite easy to relate to - who, in highschool, felt invisible at one point?
Well, SDH wasn't THAT big. She could have found friends, Willow would have been her friend. She was just nuts.
6/10

Yes though she obviously wasnt that popular anyway, Willow and Xander couldnt remember her and they had classes with her, I rememberd everyone I had classes with (not now though ) , Willow and Xander didnt care much for the people who tried to suck up to Cordy. There were people in my classes i cant remember. There are usually people in every school who slip under the radar, but they usually like it that way

I agree with Glenn. If Marcy truly wanted non-superficial friends and then was being ignored, I can see why there might be some anger. But then again, she might have tried, and as we see Willow and Xander both signed "have a good summer" (or close to that) in her yearbook clearly because they didn't care for her. So who knows. Her actions still weren't justified.
Anyway I'll give the episode a 6.5/10

On to Prophecy Girl. A great finale imo. I loved her "I dont want to die" speech, still brings a tear to my eye I do think the Master died to quickly in the end though. Um, more thoughts later. 9.5/10

I liked it, but it's the weakest of the finales IMO. The "I don't want to die" speech is beautiful, and I think that as a finale, it suffered from a lower budget, and that it only had 11 episodes before it (as opposed to 21), so the stakes didn't seem as high.
I'd probably give it an 8.5/10...

Yeah, I enjoyed the episode, but it wasn't the best finale. I did love her speech to Giles, it was very moving. I also liked how she kinda accepted her responsibility as the Slayer, and knocked out Giles to go do it herself (even when she knew she would die) . However, I didn't like how the Master killed her so easily, and then how she killed him so easily. Though, I did like when she was walking down the street with the theme song and said, "Oh, look. A bad guy." I also liked how Buffy finally rejected Xander . I may sound evil, but it was time he got over her. I'd give it a 8.5/10 too.
