I don't know about Channing Tatum as Angel, Tom Hiddleston is too young for Giles, and although I love Dominic Monaghan with all my heart, he would not be a good Spike.  But those really aren't bad choices at all, for the most part. |

I agree with Tatum and Hiddleston - don't like those casting.

heres a bit of sillyness. my game of thrones actors and which buffy character i would have them play.
Sophie Turner (Sansa) - Dawn Summers. Shown she can easily play the whiny kidand then develop from there
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie) - Spike. Got the looks and the attitude
Iain Glen (Jorah) - Rupert Giles
Michelle Fairley (Catelyn) - Joyce Summers
Jason Momoa (Drogo) - Angel. Can be scary but also has a soft spot for little blondes
Richard Madden (Robb) - Xander Harris. Can do funny and serious in equal measures
Natalie Dormer (Margeary) - Cordelia Chase. Seems to play a bitch in everything and is smoking hot!
Oona Chaplin (Talisa) - Willow Rosenberg. Cute and has the ability to tame a wolf
Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) - Oz. Can play a man of few words.
Will think of more later. Including a Buffy haha What do you guys think?

I would like one, yes. Joss has already stated he wouldn't mind scraping the comics as canon if a movie was made. I don't know if his opinion since then has changed or not. Scheduling may be a problem since a lot of the old cast are working on other projects now. Sarah has a show with Robin Williams, David has his show on FOX, etc.
That said, I wouldn't mind if they used some of the plot elements from the comics in the show. I liked the concept of the Slayer Organization and their inevitable conflict with the government. I just thought it got ridiculous with the superpowers Angel acquired and "The One" story concept where Buffy was pretty much Supergirl by that point. Don't even get me started with Buffy and Angel sex tour around the world. I haven't seen anything from Season Nine.
