Deeply disturbing maybe.

Yeah, the books weren't deep to begin with so it's hard to make the movie remotely deep. A review in the S'pore papers gave it 1 1/2 stars. It was a really funny review, bashing the acting, lack of plot and how the 16 year olds boys are always without their shirts.

"Some of the words I'd written were hard to make out, because I was crying when I wrote them, so I kinda just mumbled those parts." "Today, we had our heads together for a scene, and I totally felt like I could tell what she was thinking, like it was being transmitted through our hair."

I saw the trailer for Eclipse today. I might go see this at the cinema. Since Eclipse and Breaking Dawn were better in book form I hope they will be reasonably good movies. I haven't watched New Moon yet, waiting for dvd.

Is Breaking Dawn being made into a movie? 'Cause I heard Eclipse would the final chapter.

I heard that somewhere too. It seems kind of silly though, leaving the whole saga unfinished. Like filming The Lord of the Rings parts 1 and 2, then not making part 3 into a movie. Not that I'm comparing Twilight to LOTR, to do so would be all kids of wrong. Unless they've used Breaking Dawn to end Eclipse Edit - found this on Stehanie Meyer's website January 12, 2010
Just a quick note on the subject of the Breaking Dawn film: there is no drama over whether the book should be one movie or two. My personal feeling is that it would be very difficult to cram the whole story into one movie (as I've said in many interviews previous to this), but if a great way of doing that surfaces, I'm all for it. Two or one, whichever way fits the story best is fine by me, and everyone I've spoken with at Summit seems to feel the same way. We're all excited to move forward on this, and we are slowly and surely getting there. I know people are anxious for news, and so sometimes gossip gets fabricated to stir things up, but there's no basis to this particular story.

There would be a Breaking Dawn movie and Bill Condon - who wrote and directed Dreamgirls - has been picked to direct the movie.

I was thinking that when I heard about this! How would they translate on screen? Would they even put that scene in or just change to a normal birth scene?

It will be - Bella faints and you hear screaming - then cut to black, maybe more screaming - then TA DA BABYYY. At least this means more Rpattz.

Yeah they won't show what is happening graphically, but I think there will have to be more than a cut to black. But that scene alone will give it probably an MA15+ rating unless they tone it down.

A curtain is my bet. In conjunction with slow mo, cut shots, very harsh lighting on her body, soft lighting on her face and others present. Thats what i would do anyway.

That is really gross Liz I'm astounded that she thinks there is enough story for 2 movies from Breaking Dawn. You could leave a heck of a lot out

Maybe they could do the scene from Bella's pov and make it look hazy with edward moving around and baby noises in the background before she passes out!

Or they could just cut to a song and dance number. Because, you know, Condon did Dreamgirls and he might take some inspiration from that.

Oh they will make is very serious and dark I suspect. I wonder what they will do with the sex scene that wasn't really a sex scene too. Breaking Dawn was the worst of the books, but there is the possibility for some good characters if it is cast well. Hopefully the end fight isn't so quickly over as it was in the book. All hype and no fight Eclipse was by far the best book so maybe that movie may be better than the other two. They could even tack the wedding on to the end of that one to leave more room in the 4th movie.
